Very welcoming and courteous pickleball players. Unfortunate there are no permanent courts. Temporary nets over tennis courts with painted lines. Courts could use resurfacing.

I've been looking for this little park for a few years. It's very beautiful and easy to miss. The park leads to a secluded beach but I would recommend bug spray.

Warning - no dogs allowed. That was awkward. After being in MA where only restrictions were beaches and certain of nature preserves, I find really tricky going out and about with my dog here in WI.

Top choice for swimming along the lake in Milwaukee County. This somewhat hidden beach in whitefish Bay is accessed via a long downhill winding path. Its divided into two beaches and theres rock formations out in the lake you can swim out too. Based on its location, the water here can be cold and theres a lot of pebbles so some sort of foot covering at least until you enter the water is a good idea. There's no lifeguard here and while I've never seen the beach empty its never super packed either. If your not inclined to swim there's benches along the hill that overlooks the beach to sit and take in the view.

This park is one of a kind! Great views, lots to explore, and If you're in to rock collecting, it's definitely worth checking the beach area out!! That being said, It is a STONEY beach with little to no sand. However, it was nice not getting sandy at the beach for once! Best part- Theres huge boulders you can climb and jump off! Super fun. Worst part- lots of annoying bicycle tweens everywhere, throwing rocks at you. All in all it was a fun spot, and I'll definitely go back next time I'm here in town!

View: 5 stars. Playground: 1 star. sooo there's your 3 stars! It is a beautiful view, don't get me wrong. Just gorgeous! Great place to take pictures of beautiful Lake Michigan. Walking down to the beach is definitely a work out. People who are elderly or not in decent shape should think hard about walking all the way down to the beach since it is a long, steep walk back up. My disappointment with Klode is the park for kids. It is not nice. The largest structure there is wood and was constructed like 30-40 years ago (there is a plaque with the date). Whitefish Bay needs to tear down the playground and start again, in my opinion. Every MKE park for kids that I have been to is nicer than this one.

Nice enough tennis courts, and in a nice place. A little worse for wear though.
