Tried Pure Barre in WFB for the first time ! It was a tough workout but the instructor and others in the class were so encouraging and welcoming . The instructor took the us through everything we needed to know before class. The studio was very clean and organized . I will definitely go back to give it another try .

I’m about to go to my 72nd class so I thought it was time to say thank you by writing a review! After the pandemic left me with no gym and only walking as my preferred exercise method, I had lost a frightening amount of muscle mass and strength. Initially, Pure Barre seemed out of my league. But the other reviewers here say it so well. All of the instructors are encouraging and so willing to offer gentle adjustments to make every participant feel successful. I’ve noticed in my day to day activities how much stronger I am! And my balance and posture have improved, too. Some may go to Barre to prep for bikini season. I go to Barre to prep for life!

I had been wanting to try barre workouts for a while so when I got the opportunity to try pure barre I was really excited. It was my first time and I wasn't sure what to expect but the instructor was great and I felt supported through out the workout. I definitely wished I was in better shape as it was a tough workout and the regulars made it look easy, but I never felt judged as I struggled through. I would definitely come back again as the studio was clean, welcoming, and supportive.

I have really been struggling to get back into fitness and saw a targeted ad on social media for complementary class at Pure Barre in Whitefish Bay. I had previously participated in a barre workout offered as a virtual Yelp Elite event (from OKC, as I recall) and really enjoyed it. So I decided to try out this class.... Wow - what a workout!! You do not need a dance background to enjoy this, and everyone in the classes is at all levels and the instructor provides options for modifications so no need to get discouraged. I decided to take advantage of the introductory offer and have been to classes with a few of the instructors. They all provide wonderful instruction and no one class is exactly the same. It is a low-impact workout but it is intense! The incorporation of the ball, weights, and bands works those tiny muscles that are neglected when doing the typical cardio based workouts. It is extremely challenging but also fun and the time really does fly by from the start to end of class. Definitely recommend if you are looking to try something new and improve strength and flexibility!

I tried a class Pure Barre for the first time over the weekend, as they were offering a complementary class in partnership with Lulu. Living downtown, the Whitefish Bay location isn't the most convenient for me which is really the only reason I hadn't yet been, but I'm glad I now have! The studio is only small, but it's quite welcoming when you walk in. There are friendly faces of staff and lots of apparel on offer. I thought it was interesting that the classroom itself is carpeted. Definitely not a bad thing, just different than what I've seen in barre before. The instructor was great and guided the class through a 45-minute class. We incorporated small weights, a small ball, and loops to workout our arms, legs and core. Hot dang was it a killer workout. I have not taken a barre class in a good 6-8 months and wow can you feel it when working those small muscles! I'd love to include barre in my workout routine a few times a month, if possible, so I would certainly return to Pure Barre!

I love Pure Barre Whitefish Bay. Every time I’m in town visiting from New York, I make sure to take as many classes as I can at this location. The studio is spacious (more spacious then I’ve seen elsewhere) and the teachers are extremely friendly and helpful. The work outs are always intense no matter your fitness level. Be sure to bring a towel or water bottle with you if you need.

I started pure barre because it was a Christmas gift and three years later I am still here and loving it! The teachers are so wonderful and helpful and the people are very kind and supportive of one another. It is not like other gyms or workout places that I have ever experienced and I have tried many of them! Try it and you will be so happy! I am in my 50s and stronger than ever!

I never expected to find a workout that I actually enjoyed, but then in a spur of the moment decision I signed up for a class at Pure Barre Whitefish Bay and I loved it. I immediately signed up for more classes. My instructor was really helpful and supportive and the class didn't feel competitive at all. I loved my experience here and I haven't stopped recommending it!

After my first few classes at Pure Barre Whitefish Bay I was hooked, and if I could give more than five stars I would! From the friendly barre tenders to the killer playlists and challenging workouts, Pure Barre never fails to leave me dripping in sweat and with a smile on my face. Within weeks I saw incredibly changes in my body - everything looking tighter and feeling stronger than I have in years. Thank you Pure Barre for helping me to fall in love with fitness again!

I just started taking some classes here. They have intro specials and also look out for Groupons every once and a while! At the beginning of class, you will grab some small weights, a ball, and some bands. After warmup, its arms, then legs, then core. During class, the instructor will demonstrate some of the moves, but also walk around and try to correct your positioning if you are a bit off. Expect lots of positions (ie lunges!) held for a while, while you bob up and down / add additional movements until you are shaking. What I like so far is that they aren't afraid to crank up the music! It helps keep me motivated to push through. They also have a small shop in the front to buy yoga/ barre clothing as well as the all important sticky socks.
