Parson's Indian Trading Post is a wonderful, underrated gem in the Dells, operating for decades. It is a Native American trading post and museum, loved for its magic, history, and beauty. Visitors find a fascinating mini museum with real artifacts and information on the Ho Chunk nation. The store offers unique indigenous gifts, including handmade items, beads, sinew, pelts, necklaces, baskets, jewelry, clothes, moccasins, sage, fry bread mix, and books, alongside other western-themed items. The people who work there are super nice and polite. While the attached tourist gift shop is currently closed indefinitely, the trading post itself remains a favorite store, full of cool and unexpected finds in a great location.
I would stop every year at the gift shop and bought quite a few things over the years. But this year I went and they were closed, only museum was open. I'm sad if it's permanent.

This is my favorite place in the Dells and has been for years. Their collection in the museum is fascinating and beautiful!
