Aladdin General Store is a charming, historic business located in a small town with a population of just 15 people. The store offers a variety of items, including everyday necessities, souvenirs, and locally sourced products. Visitors often enjoy browsing the unique gifts and antiques displayed in the store, which has been around for approximately 130 years and is one of only five such stores left in Wyoming. The store is described as a neat, mom-and-pop type establishment with a welcoming atmosphere. The staff is friendly and helpful, offering advice on nearby attractions. The upstairs area features an antiques section worth exploring. For travelers passing through, the store is a good stop, especially for a cold drink or to experience the local hospitality. The overall atmosphere is lively and fun, with great humor and a sense of community. The store also has a bar, which adds to its unique appeal. The bathroom, located in the old general store building, is clean and themed to match the historic setting, with signage explaining proper use. Though there are minor issues like slow-flushing toilets and dim lighting, the cleanliness and atmosphere make it a memorable part of the visit. Overall, Aladdin General Store is a welcoming, interesting spot that offers a mix of history, hospitality, and good vibes.
A little bit of everything here including a glimpse at an original, untouched general store from the 1800s. Snacks, drinks, and souvenirs aplenty. A nice stop along our way.
