Stayed here on night early March when it was still closed for the season. We called and they were accommodating. Paid via the dropbox in the main office. Laundry and bath facilities were open. We had to use the water fill station due to sub freezing temps but that is expected this time of year- no water at the sites. We were very appreciative to have a place with power and water to stay overnight.

We became stranded due to car trouble, in December! We called and they called us back immediately and had us a cabin in just a few minutes. We ended up staying 2 nights. The restrooms and showers were clean and water temperature perfect! Such a beautiful area and the residents of Buffalo are so nice!!

Stayed here on the way up to Montana, and on the way back to America, very conveniently located, easy access, and reasonably priced!Cute sleepy town with every amenity one could expect in this region. They have some sites here that will blow your mind, with huge fenced concrete sitting areas, we didn’t take one as we were just passing though, but for an extended stay those sites would be amazing! We are in a 44ft fifth wheel, and long bed dually and had no issues entering or exiting on both sides of our trip.It appears to be family owned, and run which is very nice to see.Wouldn’t hesitate to stop here again if going to Montana which we learned is the new California so beware if heading this far north! Keep your head on a swivel once you cross that line into Montana!

This site is completely fenced in with many covered areas with nice tables and picnic tables. There’s a fire pit with benches, and nice tall trees for shade. A small grassy area, but mostly concrete. We loved this space! It allowed us to enjoy our evening fire with our four pups free roaming inside the enclosure. Morning coffee was equally enjoyable, and made our affinity for Buffalo KOA grow even more! The nicest staff, clean and very well kept campground in the area! Our 45 ft motorhome towing our Jeep fit with space to spare. Lots are level, and graveled. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a nice spot.

Absolute top-notch campground! All facilities were clean and functioned perfectly. Staff was nice as can be and extremely helpful & welcoming. Buffalo is a neat little town with lots of character, plenty of shops and dining options not far away. Stayed 2 nights and loved it, will be back again next year. Would give more stars if I could.

What a pleasant surprise in Buffalo WY! This is the nicest campground we’ve visited in our Airstream. VERY clean, extremely guest minded, beautiful setting with excellent amenities. Looking forward to a return visit.Food & drinks: A great local restaurant, the Bozeman Trail Steakhouse is about half a mile away. Generous portions, great service and good value.

The staff was very helpful. They called me before their office closed to make sure I knew where I could find my reservation when I arrived late. I thought that went above the normal service. My campsite was beautifully situated on the creek. See photos. The campground looks like it is fairly new. The gravel appeared newly compacted.I had no issues.

This park is fabulous! The park is clean, the sites are very nice - especially the site we had with table, chairs, fire pit and grill! Plus we could sit at our patio and enjoy the gurgle of Clear Creek that surrounds the park. While we were there, my husband was stung by a wasp and had a really bad reaction! I ran to the office to see if they had Benadryl and they were sold out. The owner, Anita, took me in her car to the Dollar General, about 1/2 mile up the road, and luckily they had it. Anita took me back to my site and I offered to pay her. She said no, it’s just what she does. How awesome is that?!

Beautiful and pleasant stay! Staff was very friendly. Location was easy to find and spacious. Great for families and dog friendly with a few pet areas. Lots of spaces to relax and children to play. Laundry and showers is a great amenity. Lovely walk around the creek area to the beach. Recommend water shoes lots of slippery rocks. Overall a great stay!!

One of the cleanest and best camp sites ever! The family who runs it are personable, and attuned at making visitors enjoy their stay. The property is kept pristine, includes a creek, games and even a vegetable garden along the edge of the camping kitchen. I can't recommend it enough.

Great little park. Shady spaces. Very family friendly. There are a lot of fun things to do. There is a dog park. There is a beautiful creek that runs through the property. Volleyball, horse shoes, playground, connect 4, chess, and a great swimming pool! They also have a nice laundry room on-site. Oh...and the gift shop has lots of awesome items!

We had an excellent experience at this KOA, I can't believe it's just a Journey! It simply doesn't compare to any of the other Journey's we've stayed at. The owners are so welcoming and helpful, and just generally fun to be around. And every single aspect of the grounds and facilities are clean, and practically new! Stay here, and stay more than one night even if you don't need to!

Nice campground. they will NOT LET YOU CHECK IN before 1 p. They don't even open the office between 12 - 1 - for lunch she said. Nice campground. There is a river that runs there, if you can stay on a river site, we had no option - didn't know it until after we checked in.

Location was OK and check-in went fine. Very few tent sites but we had booked one of them. Very close to a fast-running stream but not really a big issue for usWashrooms were clean and well maintained however the showers were horrible!Went to use a shower and when I first turned it on it was boiling hot, I tried to adjust it but then it was freezing cold and I could NOT get any warm water at all. I gave up and tried another shower. Same thing, only freezing cold water. Throwing on some underwear and a towel I went to the office door to inquire how to get hot water and I was told something like "you just have to keep fiddling with the faucet until you get it adjusted". Back to the shower, played around for a few minutes and then proceeded to take the coldest shower I have ever had. It's just incredible that a KOA would have such pathetic showers and it appears to be something that they know about. Very unhappy.
