Despite having spoken with management from day 1, they have been nothing but disrespectful and rude. I have said for 2 months I won't be there, I'm not using this room. This wasn't intentionally booked. No one will cancel and refund me. I'll never use best western again and I hope the awful owners and staff treat others better. What an absolute garbage way to run a business, especially at Christmas. It's taken 2 months and totally soured the brand. My family has cut Best Western out of businesses to work with. Look at their poorly written response encouraging us to report this to our credit card company in lieu of making it right. Very telling. Also, additional reviews will tell you about the abhorrent conditions at this location. Yikes.

Awful hotel. Awful staff. Avoid at all costs. I can't believe that one hotel could wreck a brand name, but this place certainly did.

Rooms were good, but noisy. Maybe it was my location. Complimentary breakfast was good, staff was friendly.

Great location with a view of Casper Mountain. Too bad the windows of the rooms are small. Rooms are huge, though. Very spacious and clean. And quiet. Also liked the Cinemax and HBO options on the cable. But not much action on the news. The breakfast had many options from pastries to meats. The scrambled eggs weren't good, though, probably because they weren't real. Breakfast was never fully ready by 630am for the three days I went.

I set up a 4-night stay at this Best Western Plus to have a quiet place to catch up on paperwork. The desk in the room is quite tall and the "office chair" in the room is rather short. I am not a tall person. After one night of working I realize that this is not going to be a physically good plan. I asked the manager if they might have some higher chairs. They said they don't but I could come look. Unfortunately, the options were not any higher. When eating breakfast, I recognized that the breakfast tables were shorter and more appropriate to the size of the chairs. There were extra tables of the style from breakfast in the conference room. The manager offered to let me use the conference room to write in all weekend. While I appreciate the offer to use the conference room, and even offering to let me lock the conference room to protect my documents, it is still not the private space that I was looking for. People can easily see in the window and--who wants to sit in a fishbowl while working on paperwork--preferably in my pajamas? Anyway, this turned into quite a debacal. The manager "refused" to move a small, unused table to the room for the weekend to accommodate my short height (that is really not super short). His inital reason was because he "isn't allowed to." Then he just stated that he just "won't move a table" because "we don't do that?" WHY not? I called Customer service at the corporate level. They did not know of any rules or regulations that would not allow this type of accommodation. I was scheduled to be a clean, paying, quiet guest for 4 nights. All I needed was a small table (or taller chair--which wasn't available and not the source of my complaint). If the concern was that he or his staff has trouble physically moving it for whatever reason, I can, and offered, to easily do that. It is not too big or too heavy. Honestly, this headache over a simple request has been ridiculous and wasted a ton of time. A simple solution would have created a very positive interaction.I have had nothing but positive experiences at the Best Western downtown. ...I just wish they weren't sitting right next to the loud construction of the bridge right now or I would have gone there.Did they "refund" the 3 nights I didn't stay---Yes. However, the purpose of getting 4 nights was to allow me to have the entire 1st day to work. Unfortunately, having to move also resulted in lost time as I had to wait to check into a new hotel, which had not problem with accommodating a simple request of checking to make sure that the desk would work and if not was willing to allow the use of another table IN my paid for private room. But, at least having to find a new place, then wait to check in, gave me time to write a review.Rooms: If you are 5' 3" or under and you hope to find a comfortable desk/office chair....Do NOT go here.Otherwise, the bed was comfortable and clean.

I reserved a 4 night stay at this hotel. Check in went well. My visit purpose was to have a quiet location to work on my computer writing work documents. I planned ahead. Got the reservation. Got my patients covered and found care for my kiddos. The desk is higher than usual and the office chair did not raise high enough. This made for a very uncomfortable experience. I asked to see if there might be a higher chair I could borrow. They offered chairs that were not any higher. At breakfast I realized the tables were more appropriately sized (in height). I asked to borrow one of the spare breakfast tables from the unused conference room. They said no. They offered to let me use the conference room all weekend--but I'm required to maintain HIPPA confidentiality. So I'd have to keep moving things around. Also, who wants to sit in a room where people can walk by and see you through the window when all you wanted was a quiet private place to write? I requested the table option again as it is actually available (they offered to let me use it in the conference room). They refused. Only reason, "I'm not moving it." I offered to move it myself and return it at check out. The manager was extremely rude and inflexible. I wasted So much time trying to fix this. I finally just moved out and found another place. Such a waste of time, money and effort. But them getting paid doesn't seem to be a desire

My fiancé and I have been staying at this hotel for an extended period of time for a pipeline job. Our first week here, the front desk charged our personal card for our room after being informed that our room would be paid for by our company’s corporate account. We then had to wait through the weekend to be reimbursed for their mistake. We also understand that there is a shortage of housekeepers, but they have a policy on paper in each room stating that you must call the office before 8 am to get housekeeping services for the day. On three separate occasions, we called the front desk and asked to be put on the list. All three times we were told that we were on the list and scheduled for housekeeping. On none of those days did housekeeping clean our room. Today my fiancé checked his bank account only to find that Best Western proactively and without permission charged our card for this week and an extra week ($1200 transaction) and now we have to wait until Monday again to be reimbursed. The employee at the front desk said that the young lady who was on shift last night charged everyone’s card when she was not supposed to. So, we would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I have contacted corporate and am waiting on a response.

Great staff, family friendly for sure, very clean. We had an extended stay, and they are constantly cleaning and upkeep is amazing here. The pool was calm during our visit, and so was the hot tub. The breakfast bar was nice and very clean. Love the unlimited coffee and creamer with juice as well.

My new favorite hotel in Casper. Front desk staff friendly, super helpful, and prioritized customer service. Room was very clean, bed very comfortable, they had a variety of pillows so I could pick the one for me. The room was quiet and well insulated from the noise of other rooms and outside. The hotel is easily found and ver convenient. This is definitely my new travel stop !!

I had a reservation at this hotel from 28 Sep - 2 Oct 2023. Upon arrival, I presented my drivers license (Wyoming) for identification purposes but was rudely told that I was not welcome because the hotel doesn't allow "locals." The kid behind the desk held up a white placard in full view of the lobby saying, "No Locals." I've been a Best Western member for several decades, and I've always enjoyed the product. I made reservations for golfing friends at this establishment earlier this summer, and just assumed I'd be welcome after giving it that business. This was humiliating and insulting. My recommendation is to stand clear of this hotel; it's a sham and it's not worth your time. The Holiday Inn next door is nicer and more accommodating.
