Would not recommend at all. The manage is a joke and most importantly their facility is absolutely disgusting. Poop is everywhere. It smells horrid and it’s like they never clean up or anything. They say they care about the well being of animals but the should be condemned building and management says otherwise

Like many others have said, Metro does not place the well being of animals first. While out shopping we had encountered a suspicious scene of people stuffing three dogs a piece into ranger dog kennels made for one dog on a “side by side” which are roughly are 54 1/2″ Wide, 36″ Deep, 24 1/2″ Tall. clearly three dogs into one side of these kennels is irresponsible and dangerous for these dogs because not only are they being shoved into a tight space with two other dogs but are suspended by being in the back of a “side by side” on top of a trailer. It’s bad enough they’re a kill shelter but not even wanting to intervene and investigate? They truly are lazy and have no care for animals in need.

Metro while we’ll intentioned clearly does not place the well being of animals first. They were informed multiple times by the good, well intentioned denizens of the Internet of a reptile in danger but refused to take action to save its life. Now the reptile has been used in a Satanic ritual in a vain attempt to summon Ozzy Osborn and was frozen alive. #Justice4Puff

Metro was informed numerous times about a bearded dragon named PUFF being at risk in the hands of a drunk, duster huffing, incoherent mess of an individual known as kingcobra who lives in filth. The BOY claims the lizard is missing, but who knows what truly happened to the poor lizard. Metro allowed the lizard to remain in the apartment and now is missing or in the clouds with homeboy scotty. Metro should have removed the lizard as it's wellbeing and safety was at risk of an individual who has no business having a pet. The BOY can't even properly take care of himself!

Thanks to Metro's wonderful services, the Saunders boy killed his lizard! After many calls from concerned citizens and viewers of his content. For shame Metro. You disgust me.

I have made several reports about a reckless goth boy and a lizard that he would blow marijuana smoke into his enclosure to “chill him out”. He has now lost said bearded dragon and has no clue if it’s even inside, we are approaching winter and puff will be dead if not found. Their neglect will kill this animal without probably being the first for them.

I and several other individuals contacted Casper Metro Animal Control several months ago with information regarding a known animal abuser and prominent Casper local's recent (at the time) acquisition of a bearded dragon. It has now come to light that said beardie has died. Unfortunately, Casper Metro Animal Control did nothing to prevent this. We tried to tell them.

A cat stuck in a tree, when I called they said there’s nothing they can do. It’s now pouring rain and the cat has been there all day and possibly all night. When I did call there was no concern for the cat at all and whoever I talked to was extremely rude. A complete disregard for the cats safety and weather conditions because there is simply “nothing they can do.”

Please please pay a visit to the Saunders boy again..you’ll know him by the smelly dog collar he wears. He’s abusing a bearded dragon with cannabis smoke and definitely doesn’t clean the habitat. The dragon can be seen on the boys YouTube channel…not looking too good.

An animal living in a filthy enclosure, having seizures and an owner admitting to blowing weed in its face is good enough for these clowns. They should all be out of a job because they are not competent enough do work with animals.

Staff was incredibly knowledgeable about the animals in their care! Kennel techs were helpful in matching our family with a furever friend!

We adopted our sweet 3mo Nico there but we wish we have room for all the cute animals that are there waiting for a new family and new opportunity to be loved!

The young ladies and young men working the front desk and caring for the animals were all very helpful and courteous. My application was processed efficiently. Although my vet was scheduled out to spay my adopted female, the organization is willing to work with the process at hand. Wonderful goodie bags are provided by a non profit. You sense we all have one thing in common-Secure homes for the most needy of animals in our community.

An absolute joke of an AC facility, let alone a shelter. Casper needs to invest in properly trained ACOs and better train the shelter staff on AC related policy. I've worked in and with underfunded city shelters and ACs for years, and they've all functioned much more appropriately than this place.
