We drove over two hours one way on a 7 hour drive and had a car reserved. It was not made clear to us at the time of our car reservation that a credit card ONLY could be used. We showed up ready to roll with our DEBIT card in hand and were told the airport’s policy is that cars can only be rented out using a CREDIT card. Make this clear AHEAD of time.

Do not rent from this place supposedly it’s privately owned which all the policies are weird already . Rented a SUV and they couldn’t upgrade me without charging me an extra $200 a day never had a problem with Avis or buget at this airport

This particular Hertz location commits fraud. They steal your card number, literally! And harrass you non stop! Avoid this location! What an embarrassment to Hertz! The rental guy is an animal!

This location is horrible and crooked. I had to rent a vehicle due to getting into accident in company car. This location is privately owned franchise and not corporate owned, so runs different than any other location I have worked with. I have Presidents Circle elite status with Hertz and company has huge corporate contract. This location gave me a car that I was told had been used by someone’s grandma and was just returned. They cleaned it up quick (still dog hair everywhere in it). I didn’t look at outside carefully, wish I had. The car needed an oil change about 2 weeks after I had it. They refused to pay for that. Was told I could drive it the 4 hours north for them to do the work or pay for it myself. I paid for it myself. When I finally got to return the car, they quickly submitted a claim to my company saying there were numerous dents and scratches. It was kept in a heated garage and only driven for work. Lucky then that they could take advantage of my company and my lack of taking pictures when I picked it up. They are rude, crooked and buyers should be weary. You are at their mercy when you rent in a small town like Casper, but I would avoid at all costs. Glad to see I wasn’t the only one that had a horrible experience.

My partner and I ran into some bad news about our road trip vehicle on our way to Denver for a very important concert. With only 8 hours to figure out a backup plan and also drive the rest of the way there. In a panic I called in hopes of a smaller vehicle that wouldn’t totally break the bank. Hertz’ employee Brad was so nice to us and went out of his way to find us that small car as fast as a could and with an awesome rate and we just really can’t thank him enough. He made the check out so easy and quick and got us back on the road asap!

I reserved a car through a third party app “hopper”, I was told there would be a deposit for the car I assumed it would be $200. When I arrive to the facility there’s nobody at the desk for 10 minutes then the worker proceeds to tell me that is a 300 deposit plus the $283 that I paid for the rental upfront to the third-party app again and $90 charge for a full take a gas before I could take the car. The worker was polite but there was no compassion for the business and there was no compassion from the third-party app. I had to be at a graduation on Monday 16 hours from that time and I had no rental and I lost my money and no help, so good luck with your rental “make sure you call upfront to you know all the money you need.”

Hurts not hertz...Worst rental experience ever. Why do I have to give them one star?A local website that advertises rental cars in Casper suspended this locations account! They do not have a good reputation. Why does this crooked company branch have a contract at the airport when they're are many more people willing to conduct business in a fair and professional manner? We were quoted and made the reservation for seventy dollars a day, only needed it for a handful of hours. Crummy little Corolla that smelled funny. When we returned it the manager refused to give us our corporate gold member discount (which the car was reserved under) and it cost us over $180!We only had the car five hours.Manager Brad was rude and condescending while performing his bait and switch. How does someone with such poor communication skills become manager?I guess if a company is desperate for employees they hire who ever is available and if customers are desperate for a rental they have to either walk or put up with abuse.Clearly the five star reviews are mostly employees of hertz attempting to balance out the poor rating.Never again!Hertz corporate said they can't look in to it because this location is an independent licensee. They have me a number to contact this location but it's the same number as Brad's business card. Hertz Casper airport obviously feels they are untouchable by how frequently they blatantly rip their customers off and never pay consequences. What authority investigates this type of crime?

Great rental price for an SUV 2021 4Runner. When I picked up, I thought that the rep told me that they offer up to a half of tank of gas at a slightly cheaper price than the local fuel stations. After traveling all day and a bit worn out, I said "OK" not fully understanding what she had said. When I looked at the rental agreement days later, the charge that I agreed to was $74.75 or about the cost to fill the tank. Now I was confused. Had she explained it clearly and actually cared that I understood what she was telling me, I would have planned accordingly. But now I had already filled the tank again and couldn't use all of the fuel in the tank. When I returned the vehicle it had slightly more than a quarter of a tank of fuel. They still charged me $74.75 to fill the tank with their fuel. That equals about $4.28 per gallon! Local gas stations in Casper were around $3.29 per gallon! I wonder how many other hapless travelers get boned by this obviously underhanded tactic? I will rent from them again if they can beat Enterprises price but I will not be agreeing to their fast-talkin fuel agreement! BEWARE travelers!

Unauthorized charges for the second time . I reported to BBB and my bank. Seem to have a problem with adding miscellaneous charges after car is returned or hertz cancelling when car booked and paid for in advance. Theft is Theft and illegal. Best if location is shut down and they take advantage of the fact that Avis and Budget close at 8p leaving Hertz to pray on people in need. A taxis is cheaper and more reliable in the long run.

Taxi cabs are cheaper! This location is crooked, think it's just me posting about this?READ THE REVIEWS!!The manager (BRAD) is the rudest person I have met in a long while. He didn't honor the price I reserved the car for, actually he tripled it!I wish it was a fluke but look at the other reviews, this is common practice at this location.Stay far away from Hertz, Casper Airport if you want a good experience renting a car.
