I highly recommend this salon. They are perfectionists in their art and my nails always look beautiful. I have not been there in over 2 years and I walked in today and they remembered me and were happy to see me.

Left the salon they were very rude told me “I know nothing” all because of the colors I was picking for my nails I do not recommend this place at all unless you like being talked down to!!!

I would give 0 stars if I could. When I walked inside I wasn’t even told hello, I was immediately told “Appointments Only” and then handed a business card that states they allow walk-ins…. Very rude customer service and discrepancies they didn’t care to apologize for. It’s also small and the floors, tables and sinks looked filthy!

Changing my review, we had gone there for 7 years. Twice we had to cancel due to having no car. We canceled 24 hours in advance both times. They called and said we needed to make a $25 deposit to keep any new appointments. This is not a good way to keep loyal customers. We used to recommend people to go there because they did beautiful work.

I’ve been going to Modern Nails since I was a teenager. They never fail to let me down. I’m always pleased walking out of there. Danny usually does my nails but Annie is also awesome! They are by appointment only so make sure you book in advance! But they always put time and dedication into their nails. Danny always does a great job to make me happy. I found this design on google and he did better than the actual picture! I was so obsessed.

I am black girl from Sc and I came in on 5/7/24 to get my nails removed and the lady automatically say we have no time, so I said can I make an appointment the lady said no availability. There was only two older white ladies customers was there and one was finishing up. If you don't service a certain race put it on your doors, so I want waste my time or yours. By the way y'all only can do older women nails and some basic stuff.

My friend made an appointment for us to get pedis and full sets here, and I wanted a set the same size as I got but with more detail, she made sure to make an appointment for at least a week out where we’d have time for a more intricate set. I wasn’t able to get what I wanted due to lack of time... Since I wanted the set to remember my grandma who recently passed unexpectedly I was very sad, I actually cried, but I was pleased with the work they did do and so was my friend. While it would have been nice to know that I needed to have a “consult” to ask for the design I wanted, the work they do is very good, and if you’re prepared to work with their attitude towards their services and you’re open minded, go for it. They do good work. (Will include pictures of what I asked for and what I got)

The male shop owner became very angry and aggressive while doing my daughters nails because we had pointed out that the clearcoat had browned significantly over her ombre nails and he was upset she had reshaped them a little bit which she told him she did, so much so he wanted to take a picture so if they changed shape again he would know as if there would be a consequence like she wasn’t allowed to make any changes. Very rude horrible customer service and very high priced for not so great nails.

Best manicure I ever had! The nice man was gentle and patient, I didn't feel rushed and really enjoyed my experience. Will definitely be back!
