Was charged a lot of money for diagnostic fee and compression test. Also a broken injector harness and when asked for proof and numbers of the compression test they didn’t have it. Also upon having the vehicle diagnosed somewhere else there was no signs of the vehicle being touched. Would not recommend this place

My Pickup was in for a Diagnosis not Repairs. Was in an out in about 35 Minutes. ( had to wait a little while for the 1 part that was needed. )

These guys were very professional and quick with the repairs done with my truck. Every time I scheduled an appointment they were usually done with my truck within a couple days. And every time after they did a repair they always followed up to make sure everything was working properly. They took really good care of me and helped me with a transmission issue from a previous shop. If I’m ever in the area and need a diesel repair done I’m definitely going back to them.

Had an LML duramax doing weird things. Being somewhat knowledgeable I did know the direction to point them in, but they went about it as if there was no map. A tad salty about that due to the extra diag fees. After it was determined to be a fueling issue they quickly got the neccessary parts and had a super quick turn around. Stayed in contact during the repairs. At the time I dropped my truck off, every where else in town was a month out. They had my truck back to me in 2 weeks from drop off due to some unforseen complications. Otherwise it would have been a little over a week. After a trip to Buffalo I found a small fuel leak (not at all noticeable during a typical test drive) they fixed that and had the truck ready in a few hours. Overall extremely pleased with my experience with Second Wind.

In 2020 Second Wind went out of their way to get me repaired so I could continue my vacation with my family. Five years later I called for help and once again they got me out of a bind! I will always be grateful for their attitude, dedication, and quality work.

Warning to anyone in the Casper, WY area stay very far away from Second Wind Performance they will completely rip you off and their technicians are beyond incompetent. We were warned to stay away from them the day we took it in from someone else they had screwed over for thousands and we should have listened. We took our vehicle to them for a simple leak down test on one cylinder which they did incorrectly but since it was a simple test we took the risk regrettably. In the aftermath checking with other shops in town we found out that they charge literally twice as much as every other shop in town. When you talk to their management they will completely lie multiple times to save their own rear end and will take zero accountability for their wrongs and will put zero effort into making things right. They will also give you assumptions instead of true diagnostics in order to try and scam you out of more money. If you want your vehicle properly taken care of and for a fair price, then do not ever go to this sorry excuse for a shop and do your homework on their pricing. I will be taking my truck back apart this weekend to find out what they put back together incorrectly since it is now running worse than when we dropped it off. Joe their front desk guy is nice but the rest of the shop is horrible.

The turn signals on my rig went out while living in it full-time on a cross-country road trip. I had little hope for getting it fixed without having to stop somewhere for a week or so and book a hotel, as everyone seems booked several days out, but Second Wind told me they'd squeeze me in. Less than an hour of labor and less than $120 later, I was back safely on the road. Their technician even showed me the nuts and bolts of my issue and made an adjustment to help prevent it happening again. I was very impressed by how over the top kind and helpful everyone at this shop was, and am so grateful for them fitting me in!
