I gave 2 stars because, most of the time, Spectum was better than no internet. Whenever it was windy my service was horrible. I'd call. They said there must be cracks in the line causing interruptions when the wind blew, but they couldn't send a repairman because it was unsafe due to the wind. They wouldn't send a repairman when it wasn't windy because my service was OK. I dealt with this for years. Finally, after years, they stretched an entire new line. It was to little to late. I think Spectrum had no competition so they gave lousy service. I swore when there was another option, I was leaving. I've been on fiber for a month and love it. Internet is sooo much better. My bill is lower. The final call to cancel my service was torture. To me, it seemed Spectrum trains their employees to make the cancellation process so time consuming that customers just give up in frustration. The call took about 45 minutes. I was put on hold 3 different times. They tried offering several specials that were only good for short time. They had the gall to offer me a more reduced price if I started their cell phone service! I stood strong, and endured, and got my service stopped! Two days later, I get a call from them trying to sign me back up. The next day I got another call, in spanish this time, trying to sign me up again. With their track record of low quality service, ridiculous prices, and poor customer service; they've got to be hurting with the new fiber optic options. I'm very happy to say, Good bye Spectrum!

Ashley and Ryan are The Most Patient and Knowledgeable Service Reps I have ever had the pleasure to work with.
They have been covering the entire store in Casper WY all day without a break. Taking care of everyone with kindness, professionalism and incredible preseverance. We are here at the end of the day and Ashley welcomed us. Ryan served us, answered all our questions about services and the different phones and helped us purchase the best phones for us. Customers are still rolling in, the store has been packed with folks all day. I have not seen this level of excellence in a very long time. They both deserve to be acknowledged and given a raise.
Spectrum, listen up, you want to show your appreciation for this kind of excellence. Don't lose them!

This has been one of the WORST!!! services I’ve ever gone through for internet. I’ve called several times to cancel my service and I’ve gotten nothing but bots and waiting for hours for a call back. It shouldn’t be hard to get it cancelled and yet I’m still paying for it when I no longer use it because I’m not able to get in contact with a person.

Called for their “affordable student internet” was told our area doesn’t qualify for that. So apparently they pick and choose what colleges they will offer that too. All they do is constantly try to get you to add more of their serves. Garbage

They are theifs. Countless complaints of them taking your returned equipment and waiting several months before sending you to collections. Keep your receipt for forever. They have a scam going. I have perfect credit and they are attempting to ruin it. Thief's. I can't wait to watch them driver their business straight into the ground. I posted this in a local group and dozens of people had the exact same thing done to them.

Canceled my internet service today 6-19-24. I had just paid it thru 7-6-24. Was told there was no refund as it is a subscription service. Be careful what you sign here. Know what you are buying and ask about cancelation policies. I switched to fiber and saved $20.00 a month. Go on Trust pilot and check Spectrum's reviews not good

The only reason they even get one star is because I can't put zero. This internet is the worst I ever dealt with. Every day it just completely stops working. Plus it is slow. Might as well go back to when internet first became a thing.

Internet service is Crap. I am a late night person and Spectrum is constantly up and down all night long after 11pm to the point where it is unusable. In the last 6 hours I have had actual internet for 2 hours. They don't list it as an interruption, so can screw me over and charge me for full service when I am not getting what I paid for. FCC needs to get involved on their fraudulent business practices screwing over customers.

Maybe I have bad luck, but I doubt it. When I come, the customers waiting grossly outnumber the people working (most frequent number of agents in store: 1--often 3 or 4 people waiting in store). This was not the case when the office was downtown. Lines there were manageable. Lines at this location are always ridiculous.

This is a commentary on spectrums service.
I have had this internet out of necessity for two years.
Don’t do it.
I have to reset my modem once a week. I have had two technicians out. Gone through two different sets of equipment.
I pay 100 a month for base level WiFi that maybe works 75% of the time.
I have called a handful of times. The same situation. They walk you through resetting the router. It works for a week then rinse and repeat.
The MOMENT any other options exist in my area I will take them. Even if they work half as well they will be half as expensive.
Do yourself a favor and run the other way.

I learned the hard way that spectrum is not interested in customer service. First of all they offer you an introductory rate and then hike it every chance they get until it's totally out of control. Second there is no prorated billing when you end service. And they are kind enough to point that out when you call them to complain that it is on every single one of your bills (see the picture below). I am so glad that I don't have to be taken advantage of by this company anymore because there are new options in town.

Have to get a new modem and router every other month and the WiFi if terrible same with the customer service. Every time I call it’s always the same questions but it’s never the problem I have. They need to do something about soon.
