Nice little area, inexpensive and not crowded! I'd recommend checking the conditions to see how many lifts and runs are open before going, especially if you are a more advanced skier and want to ski more terraine. It's a great place for an affordale beginner lesson but the lifts are not the easiest for never evers. Also check for wind!

Fun place to enjoy the snow. Patient instructors. Slops are steep and daunting. It should be expanded. Cabins nearby, Restaurant and hotel too. 30 mins from Laramie.

Snowy Range is always a good time! It’s been several years since I’ve here! They’ve changed a few things but all good changes! We came down as a group this year and the prices CANNOT be beat. We did rented our gear and got ski lift tickets for two days and it was like $150 a person. There are a TON of portions near by for lodging. It’s just a fun and inexpensive place to go, great place for beginners as well!

Myself, our 22 year old son, and my husband went here today and it was awesome! Powder conditions, perfect weather, and no crowds. We had the best time and will be back!

Cheap weekday passes, never crowded, nice facilities, easy to access from NorCo and surrounding area. Vertical is nothing to sneeze at, but generally good snow on east slope in morning and north slope in afternoon. Good place to bring beginner/intermediate skiers who aren’t quite acclimated to the long and steep runs at big Colorado resorts. For $50 a day, this is the best skiing deal you will find in the region.

This place is really fun/employees are great, but the amount of skiers who have NO idea how to ski, have no helmet on and fly off the end of the lifts that are basically a jump down is insane. I have been up 6 times this year and every single time someone has been skied or snowmobiled down on a rescue sled, one time it was 2 people in a matter of an hour. I usually stop skiing about 2pm because I’m afraid someone is going to run into me.

Snowy Range is a hidden gem. It's the perfect ski area for beginners. The mountain is relatively short and the terrain is easy (all categories). If you're an experienced intermediate or advanced skier/boarder, you might find the terrain a bit easy. However, regardless of this, the resort is still fun. Here are some of the pros/cons I experienced during my visit.Pros:No I-70! (This should be enough to convince anyone to go there, especially if you're from WY or Northern Colorado)Cheap Lift Tix (actually RFID Tix - easy to use and easy to move through the lines)Super friendly across the board!Good and consistent snow (granted, I'm writing this in 2023 which is one of the best seasons on record in the west)Easy drive, very little trafficSuper affordable lunch/bar menu (compared to other ski areas).Beautiful terrain (even if the runs are a bit shorter)Super friendly staff...from "lifties" to bar staff!Cons:Easy Mountain (this might be a pro if you're a beginner or just want an easy day)Slower lifts (because there are a lot of families and new skiers, the lifts stop frequently for loading and unloading)Windy (it's Wyoming...it's always windy - this may cause some exposed terrain to become windblown and crusty in spots).I hear it gets very busy in peak season... (haven't experienced a busy day, but could imagine it would be a bit rough with long lines and slow lifts)Overall Thoughts:I like this mountain. It doesn't try to be anything it isn't and succeeds in what it is...which is a great place for families, new skiers, and those just wanting a fun day in the slopes. Would I go back, heck yeah... especially for the price of a full day ticket... especially with some of my laid back friends! Snowy Range seems to not take itself too seriously and in return, gives that fun and relaxed vibe to the people who visit. If you're a family new to skiing, I would actually recommend this place as a potential destination location. Get yourself a place in Laramie (30 min drive) and spend a few days at a resort where you don't need to take out a second mortgage to have fun with the whole family on the slopes!Hope this review helped! Enjoy. And remember, even a bad day if skiing beats a good day at work!

We love Snowy! As beginner/intermediate skiers, the runs here are very fun. The greens and blues aren't intimidating and they make it easy to experiment without worrying too much about falling. But one of the most important things about Snowy is that it's rarely crowded. On their busiest weekend ever, I think the longest we waited in a lift line was 10 minutes. Normally, the wait for the most popular lists is less than 5 minutes. Also, the staff is very friendly. Most of them are UW college kids, and they're nice, knowledgeable, and eager to help. We get season passes every year because they're so reasonably priced and we always have a great time.

Great small ski hill (yes, it is more of a hill than a mountain). Family friendly, ideal to get your kids on skis. Lodge is nice. Definitely check the wind before going! The 22/23 season was incredible!

We skied on a Monday and it was honestly perfect. Staff were pleasant. Rented so we didn't have to haul our equipment - easy and efficient process. Zero lift lines. Nice, clean runs. The blues were lovely. A primary lift was closed, but you can work around it. Pack a lunch...2/5 food wise.

We had a great time here. The ease of access from Laramie is wonderful. It was pretty icy, especially in the parking lot but they eventually sanded it. The mountain was fun and staff we interacted with were friendly.

This is the best "retro ski experience" ever. Friendly, nice, laid-back vibe. Great snow this season, fun runs and excellent value. Just love this place. Awesome chicken wings too!

Highly recommend mountain to visit. Snowy range has the old world small town charm that so many overcrowded slopes are missing today.Enjoy fresh powder and low crowds then stop in Centennial on your way home for lunch and take a trip back in time to the wild west era.
