I had a bad draw on my battery, died everytime I turned it off without disconnecting the battery. He re-wired and got it all fixed up within the same day! I recommend Mr. Tom out of anyone in this town!

They did good work on a car wiring problem. But he said he doesn't do new radios or backup cameras.

I arrived at 3:30 on a Friday to buy at part. The door was locked and a person inside looked at me as I tried to open it then went back to work on a car. This shop has the best small engine parts selection in the area but I would recommend Amazon over them unless it’s your last resort.

I called and talked to a Steve or Steven very rude, I will not be back. He needs to learn customer service or go to anger management. He is lucky I gave him one star.

I stopped by to drop off a chainsaw for repair and realized quickly the business seemed to have changed because the small engine work entrance was no longer open. I walked into the other entrance and before I even got a word out the guy inside saw I had a chainsaw in my hand and rudely said we don't service those here while shaking his head. I asked to confirm I was at the right place called Auto electric and he said I've been here for 12 years doing the same thing so it's always been a vehicle repair shop. I was quite confused because I had brought small engines for repair here several times and even purchased chainsaw gear previously. I asked if they moved and he finally just said the small engine department of the company had closed. That's all he had to say when I first walked in and then I might have considered using them to service my vehicle fleet if need arose but as many other people have posted on these reviews the guy facing customers is incredibly rude and seems to like just being a jerk. I will never darken their door again and I suggest if you are reading this you find somewhere else for vehicle service where they treat customers with respect.

I stopped by Auto Electric a few months ago after my car began running rough to have Tom have a listen to my car. He came highly recommended to me by several of my friends with classic in town. Tom wouldn’t even give me the time of day with my vehicle outside to even listen to my engine and what was going on with it. I left extremely disgruntled after being told that he couldn’t tell me what was wrong with it just by listening (which is probably true, but definitely could’ve helped) and didn’t ask any diagnostic questions. I was fairly certain that all it needed was a carb adjustment as it began idling rough and producing black smoke. I changed the spark plugs myself and they were coated in carbon. I also thought that the timing needed advanced slightly as well. I thought perhaps he was having a bad day, so I gave him a call yesterday afternoon again. No, he was not just having a bad day. He’s just incredibly rude.I let him know my issues again and let him know that I thought the carburetor needed adjusted and perhaps rejetted as the car came from sea level to Wyoming three years ago. He then goes into “I don’t know anything about this car. I’ve never messed with it. I don’t know what carburetor you have.” I told him then that I could bring the car by so he could just have a look and a listen. Not perform any work. He said he wasn’t interested in that. So he asked how long I had owned the car, if I had done any repairs on it, and what kind of fuel I was putting in AND where I was getting it. I have always used ethanol free fuel with a motor medic lead additive to preserve my valves. He says to me, “Woah, woah, woah! What are you putting in your tank?” So I explained that I put in a lead substitute. He rudely asked me if I was told to put that in when I bought the car. It’s common knowledge to put a lead substitute in as that’s what these cars originally ran with. He then RUDELY says “well, I don’t even know what’s in your engine. I’m sure there’s been several modifications.” And didn’t believe me when I told him it was a stock 312.I would absolutely not recommend this shop at all because it seems to me that Tom is incredibly sexist and doesn’t believe a female who owns a classic car and needs work done.
