DO NOT TAKE YOUR PETS HERE. My sister recently moved to WY and brought in her cat on Friday for not eating, lethargy, and weight loss. They ran bloodwork and told her that he had a blood parasite. They prescribed him antibiotics to an outside pharmacy. They did not inform her that her cat was severely anemic with a PCV of 14%!!!!!! Her cat needed a blood transfusion AND NO ONE INFORMED HER OF THIS. THEY SENT HER HOME WITH NOTHING AND CALLED IN ANTIBIOTICS THAT WERE NOT FILLED UNTIL AFTER HE WAS ALREADY DEAD. Her previous vet is my job, I am a veterinary assistant. When we received the medical records, there was 0 notation of her being informed that his condition was CRITICAL or the URGANCY of what is going on. It was notated in the bloodwork that he had non regenerative anemia, WHY WAS SHE NOT TOLD THIS? There was NO suggestions of transfer, NO suggestions of a blood transfusion, NO explanation of next steps. The medical notes said "they would check on him in a few weeks" A FEW WEEKS? He died 3 days later. There was no evidence of a blood parasite in the bloodwork. Any dvm should know the severity of anemia and informed her the pet NEEDED a blood transfusion. If they were not equipped for a blood transfusion, the pet should've been TRANSFERRED to somewhere that could. They failed her and her pet. We would've done anything to save him but they failed to tell us what he needed or what steps we needed to take to save him. Her baby went into ORGAN FAILURE due to the incompetence of the clinic and not being explained what was going on. A blood transfusion would've prevented him from going into organ failure. My sister lost her beloved cat due to the incompetence of this clinic and she is absolutely heartbroken. Her baby is irreplaceable and this all could've been prevented if this clinic took the correct steps to give him the care that he desperately needed. This practice should not be allowed to exist. If your animals are sick, RUN AWAY FROM THIS CLINIC.

We brought our cat Nashi in as an emergency, and they saw us at the clinic after hours. Nashi required a four-night stay due to complications but is now back to normal. We're grateful they quickly diagnosed him. Our experience has been good so far, with kind staff. We'll for sure be back for our cat's future checkups.

AMAZING! Called 4 minutes before closing thank God I got someone and they responded to my Emergency! They were here fast (48 minutes) we are rural! One of my horses slashes her leg open and Dr. Jaylin Rieck, DVM responded, gave her sedation, gave her medication and performed her duties incredibly. Also, our prior farm-call was non-emergent and Dr. Ashtyn Kilpatrick, DVM was also amazing with our horses! THANK YOU GUYS SO MUCH! -White Family/Rocking W Ranch

My dog (Brutis) ate a poisonous house plant and was in bad shape. No one in town would look at Brutis without an appointment. Frontier Vet Clinic took care of him without hesitation, and saved his life. Thank you to the Dr and all of the staff. Our family is forever grateful.

I’ve loved this office ever since I started bringing my cat and dog over a year ago. Everyone is kind and attentive. More specifically though, Dr Jaylin has been so absolutely amazing with my emotion support animal Nelson. He is a little doggo and came down sick almost 2 weeks ago. Initially we thought he had a blockage in intestines because he has a history of eating things he’s not supposed to so when I brought him in thinking he had done it again, she ran all sorts of test and X-rays. Those came back all fine. Well over the weekend 2 weeks ago, I had to call the emergency after hours line 3 separate times. He was kept over night once. We thought all was well until 2 Mondays ago when he went unresponsive in my arms. I truly thought my dog was dying in my arms so I called the emergency number again and Dr Jaylin rushed to meet us at the office. He had spiked a fever and I asked her to run xray on his lungs because I had heard him go through one minor coughing fit. She agreed. She first did a more extensive physical exam where she discovered he was experiencing severe neck pain which explained him yelping anytime I picked him up or moved his head. Then the X-rays came back and we discovered he had white shadowing in his lungs. Dr Jaylin diagnosed him with a non specific neck injury as well as bronchitis. She even said that she didn’t think him eating his blanket was ever the issue and I agree. No one’s fault that bronchitis was missed because we all thought his issues were related to him eating his blanket, even myself. He has done nothing but improve over the last 2 weeks and that’s all thanks to Dr Jaylin and her willingness to listen to every single concern and symptom I brought up to her.She never once complained about the repeated after hours calls and was happy to meet me at the office every time. Especially the one two Mondays ago. I called in tears extremely concerned and before I even got all my concerns out she interrupted me and said “I’ll meet you at the office in 20 min, I’m on my way”. I will be FOREVER grateful to her for being so kind and caring to me throughout this entire process as I was VERY distraught and going above and beyond to help my sweet boy.I included the picture that I took right before I ended up calling the after hours number for the third time when he went unresponsive. It was one of the scariest moments in all my years of being a pet owner and I couldn’t be happier with how myself and my dog were treated. He’s not all the way out of the woods yet but Dr Jaylin came up with a treatment plan that has done wonders so far and we are both sure that he will continue to do nothing but improve.THANK YOU to Dr Jaylin for taking care of my Nelson and being so kind, caring, and responsive to mine and my dogs needs. ?

The staff and the Doctors are awesome. Unfortunately, I had two Older cats that had passed within 30 days of of each other. The doctors did everything they could do for them. They’re very compassionate and very caring They are now my primary vet for my other cats here in Cheyenne. I would recommend them to anybody They have emergency services And have an honest caring for your animals.

This has been my vets office for most all of my pets lives, and six days ago in the evening, one of my most cherished friend's dog Murray, unexpectedly had a heart attack and sadly passed. The kindness the vet showed by coming to the office for my friend, suggestions for what to do next, and the comfort he showed was needed for my friend, so deeply. Always bring your pets here for care, they go above and beyond for all situations and it doesn't go unnoticed.

At 4:30 this afternoon, our little dog fell off a chair and injured her right front leg. She was crying in pain and refused to put weight on that leg. I called our regular vet and was refused care. Called Frontier and they got her right in! We were back home by 5:15 with a treatment plan in place and meds. Bitty is not badly injured and will be just fine. I cannot give Frontier Veterinary Clinic enough thanks and praise for helping us out in an emergency.

This place has been awesome. As a customer for 15+ years I called in asking if my dog could be seen today or if I can drop him off for something I think is fairly urgent. Lisa immediately told me no they don't have kennel space because of construction and advised me to find a new vet... didn't even offer me to make an appointment or anything. From reading recent reviews I wonder if this is the experience I'm going to get from here on out without Colleen around.

We have been bringing our dogs to Frontier Veterinary Clinic for about a year and a half. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The veterinarians are always willing to answer any questions. We feel confident that our pets are being well taken care of.
