One of my daughters bought me a gift card so I could take the “Intro to Wheel Throwing” class.Knowing that throwing clay into pottery is a bit complicated, I was a bit skeptical one could go from “never tried before” to “hey, look, I made something” in an hour and a half.I was wrong. The class was fun and the instructor was very interactive. Even though there were six of us, she was always on hand to help out and give advice. The class is a good introduction to the craft and worth the $50 if it’s something you’ve wanted to try. It definitely caught my imagination and I plan to take more classes.

I love visiting Silver Sage for ceramic supplies! I appreciate their employee, Jack, who has always been very helpful with questions I’ve had about certain products.

I have loved my experience at Silver Sage! Tamara has guest potters to teach workshops, classes for handbuilding and wheel throwing and open lab memberships. In addition, she sells glazes and tools. There's truly something for everyone! I'm so glad to have this shop in Cheyenne!

I took a muddy Tuesday intro class here and loved it! I enjoyed it so much I signed up for a longer class as well. Tamara and Macey are both very kind and helpful in the learning process. I'm excited to keep learning and enjoy it each time I'm there! I definitely recommend checking out this wonderful little gem in Cheyenne!

I love Silver Sage Ceramics as they have a variety of clay bodies & other ceramic materials I use, so it saves me often a trip to Denver which I really appreciate ! Also participated in a recent class this winter "Kintsugi-"ancient art of repairing broken pottery highlighted with gold leaf where I learned some new techniques and material sources to improve what I had been doing on my cracked Raku.Silver Sage is a fantastic and valuable resource for Cheyenne & Laramie County and needs to be supported by clay lovers ! I took the wheel throwing class last summer and loved every minute. Instruction was great to help us all learn how to center the clay and to make taller bowls, etc. We went through all the steps from start to finish, including trimming and glazing. Really a great class and studio and I hope to be able to take another class someday. I highly recommend this studio.

The friendly atmosphere is extremely inviting. They treat you as if you've been there a million times. I went for a gnome class and they were very helpful and knowledgeable. Will definitely be returning for another class! Also took a minute to look around at the shop section, which had a bunch of cute things from different artists. They also had a large selection of supplies.

I went to a class with my girls from work. We had a blast and got the cutest mugs out if it. Plus bought some Christmas gifts in their store. Then they advertised a class my son and bf said they would go with me to do. Well it was a weekend and they only took pal pal or something similar which I don't do. So I called to try and ask to pay by phone. By the time they could answer my voice mail that class was full...BUT they let me pay by phone and have first dibs on a second class they opened up for the same project! Will definitely be doing this more and more!

This place was indispensable when I was setting up my home studio here in Cheyenne. Anything I needed that wasn't already in stock was able to be ordered through Silver Sage, although there is already such a plethora of glazes and tools available! The gallery space is a great place to find gifts for loved ones (or yourself!) and to see what other local artists are up to. Would definitely recommend for all your clay needs!

I have taken several classes at Silver Sage Ceramics. Every one of them has been very informative and fun. I had never done any pottery before and the instructor Masey was very patient with me. I plan on taking many more classes in the future.
