This place is a gem in Cheyenne! We were visiting the town for 3 days. This cafe was one of the nicest places in town. Very cute, comfy. We had some very good teas, cupcakes and broccoli cheddar soup. Everything was delicious. Everyone was friendly. They also have a cute shop with different things, spices and teas in there. Must visit if you are in Cheyenne.

Wonderful tea shop and apothecary! My husband and I sat to do some work on our computers and enjoyed one of their herbal teas, a Golden Milk, and two scones. All were lovely! The seating is comfortable, the space is beautiful, staff were incredibly friendly, and the guest wifi was fast! They have a wide selection of teas to choose from and recently added coffee to their menu. They also have small bites like quiche, salad, and sandwiches. Perfect place to sit and relax or come get a gift for yourself or a loved one!

Excellent service! I love that, with the help of a specialist, I can create my own herbal tea. Custom blend with measurements that are saved for future purchases. I finally found my "Nighttime Vibes" tea that tastes amazing and costs way less than conventional grocery store.

Hawthorn Tree is probably one of the best places in town for a unique selection of teas. They have delicious coffee as well. Since I've never been to Hawthorn Tree until today, I asked for a recommendation from the barista so I tried the lavender latte. It was delicious!I've had lavender lattes in other places in town as well but they were not as good as what I enjoyed here. It was creamy, smooth, and floral without tasting artificial and comfortable for a caffeine-sensitive stomach like mine. For food, I tried the Curried Chicken Salad and had to say, it was fantastic. It looked and tasted like yellow curry so it was sweet and non-spicy. It went well with the chicken, the burst of grape and apple, crunch of cashews, and the texture and taste of raisins. The atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant, the establishment was clean, and overall, I was very impressed. Compared to other places in town, which I have tried just about all of them, I'd say this is my favorite spot and absolutely recommend coming here at least once!

Such a darling tea spot that makes you want to sit and stay. I take all of my out-of-town visitors here & if you're lucky you might get a window seat.

Enjoyed our visit to the apothecary. The lady who helped us went above and beyond recommendations and even problem solving where we could change our baby’s diaper. We will make the drive from CO to visit this apothecary again.

Just spent a wonderful afternoon at Hawthorn Tree, having delicious tea and cupcakes with friends. Browsed the shop and found hysterical birthday cards to send to friends and a beeswax candle that smells divine! One of my favorite places in Cheyenne - relaxing rejuvenating!

This gem of a place is an oasis in the middle of downtown. All of their food is made on-site. My favorite is the Hawthorn salad, but every snack and lunch item is delicious- better than your grandma could make. I also look forward to the different teas and drinks they roll out on a seasonal basis. Susan is an upstanding citizen in the community and is dedicated to making the downtown area a better place.

The service is amazing, walking in is beautiful. They brew by hand, their cold brew doesn’t come from a can, & their Chai is also hand made! No one does that around here besides them!!! That’s a fact. They have a good tea selection. Little coffee selection. I thought it was gonna be more foodstuffs like cafe, but they have already premade food, which isn’t fresh.. but it was alright. I got the gluten-free Thai peanut Buddha bowl. It was very dry, I had asked for more of the sauce but because it’s already premade sitting in the refrigerator they didn’t have any.. I guess I was disappointed thinking it was a cafe.. But the drink I had was pretty good.Always give them a try! It was a decent price too. I think my coffee was $10 with tip included and my salad and my bottled water was $14 with tip.Let me know what y’all think!Xoxo Brittney

What an incredible small business this is. It's a small restaurant that makes all sorts of soups and sandwiches. Plus, it's an extremely well organized "apothecary" that has all sorts of neat things. Medical herbs, teas, tea accessories, books and nick knacks. The owner, a delightful and energetic woman named Susan makes the shopping experience personable and educational. She spent ten minutes explaining to me how licorice root helps several maladies and even sourced it in a book for me to read. The prices are reasonable and the store is clean to immaculate. The entire staff treated me like gold and I can't wait to try the various teas I purchased. I so glad small business' like this made it through covid. We would all be lesser of places that this didn't exist. Thank you Susan. Your place is incredible and we are glad we found it.
