Told me device was activated and ready to go. Needless to say, it isn't activated. So now I have to go back to the store again to get device activated- can't even get it to activate online!

Don't get upset or question anybody here, you'll get kicked out of the store.
Like I'd ever go back? Pretty certain VZW dosen't train thier people in customer service. So if im upset you tried to sell my 86 year old mother a $800 phone, just about doubling her bill someones gonna hear about it!
The manager made it worse! He's
a joke!We just dropped $300 bucks in there but that dosnt matter.

Not at all happy that Verizon is now charging to transfer from one phone to another, even though both phones were bought at Verizon and Verizon is my carrier.

I have tried so many other service providers... they all fall short, either in coverage or in customer service. I keep leaving Verizon because they're expensive, but I keep coming back because my phone actually works when I'm with them and I can walk into a store and get help at any time. I guess you get what you pay for.

I should have written this the day I was in, but I was reminded of how exceptional the service was at this store when I had to go into the Verizon store closer to me today.I live about four hours away. The Verizon store in Gillette is hands down the WORST store I’ve ever been in! We are a military family so we have moved all over and have been to many, many different Verizon stores. Lately I’ve had to visit the Verizon store for one thing or another and I truly avoid going at all costs. When I was in Cheyenne, I figured I might as well go in and get a few things fixed/upgraded so I can avoid the store in Gillette. Make no mistake, I’d rather sit in line at the DMV in a big city then go into a Verizon store, so I had VERY low expectations when I walked in.I walked in at the perfect time because there was only one other customer there and she was already being helped. Corey walked up to me and asked me how he could help. We needed to replace a phone that broke and I have to admit I was probably a little short and I absolutely had my guard up. Corey was nothing but patient and incredibly pleasant to work with! He explained a few things I needed help with, then helped me pick out a new phone for my kid plus a case and a few accessories. He took the time to answer all my questions and honestly just had overall incredible customer service! I was in and out in maybe 25 minutes or so.Truly, Corey was great with us! I highly recommend this store and will absolutely make the trip down there for any upgrades etc.
