I worked with Brittney on my mortgage loan. I can’t even tell you how great the experience was! I talked to several different lenders and WyHy offered great rates and loan terms, and by far the best customer experience. Brittney was happy to answer all of my (many) questions and was very upfront and honest throughout the entire process. Brittney and the WyHy team also always did what they said they would do when they said they would do it, which was very refreshing. If you are looking to purchase a home, I couldn’t be any more confident in recommending WyHy!

Probably the worst bank I have ever had to do business with. Lazy, unprofessional, and just a pain to work with. Call for customer service and it’s as if I’m a burden and they are annoyed I called before I even start talking

I wish 0 stars was an option. employees are completely incompetent. They have no idea how to do their job or what it entails. very hard to get ahold of anyone here and if you do expect a big attitude. routinely late for work and leave early as their business hours are just a suggestion to them as I have called at 915 am told I was first in line on hold until not to wait another 7 minutes for an answer. when they do answer it will be a great annoyance and burden to them to talk to you. best to just avoid them, plently of other places to bank without these people treating you like a bag of crap

When I purchased my new vehicle a Denver dealership, I have never heard of "WyHy" despite living in Wyoming my whole life. The dealership brokered many different lenders and offered me a financing package for my new vehicle at a fixed 3.9%! I was was elated. Then recently my wife and I were needing a large mortgage for a new home in Salt Lake. The problem was, I am self employed and not a W-2 earner, so applying for a conventional mortgage through various builders and their lending incentive discounts was really discouraging us because a couple of them flat denied our loan request because we did not show a positive healthy taxable income on our tax returns (nor did I have a W-2 statement). To make matters worse, I have a good CPA that drives my taxable income into the negative each year, and my wife is a stay-at-home mom, so literally there was no income to show to qualify for a mortgage. My wife and I were very discouraged and after 6 months of looking at houses and applying for various mortgages with no success, I thought I would contact "WyHy" as a last ditch effort to get a mortgage since I already had a two year positive history with my vehicle loan (despite our Realtor telling us he never closed a transaction with a credit union because every Client he had that tried to use a Credit Union got denied because as he said 'Credit Unions are notorious in scrutinizing in their loans'). And I am sure glad I did!I spoke with Brittney Wagner-Tapia, WyHy's Mortgage Loan Originator in Cheyenne, and even though she could not make me any promises, she assured me she would look into our request because WyHy was supported by the "The Servion Group", which upon learning, was a very large diversified financial services company that is committed to supporting their partner institutions like WyHy, and Brittney mentioned they do over 1000 mortgages a month with their partner institutions. With that kind of volume, I felt hopeful they could potentially get it closed. After sending them my negative tax returns, bank statements, and a P&L, I began to feel anxious about the process, and thinking I would just get another inquiry and credit rejection; however, I was stunned when I was contacted to go ahead and bind my homeowners insurance quote because they were ready to close it a few weeks later. Wow! I could not believe it! My wife and I began to celebrate and pack!!! A week later, they closed it successfully without a glitch. My wife and I are now living in our dream home in Salt Lake, driving a new vehicle we bought from a dealership in Denver, which was all made popular by a small credit union in Wyoming with a funny name.I believe I could have called a 100 different banks in the USA, and after telling them I am self-employed with net operating loss tax returns, I am certain not one of them would have returned my phone call. Mortgage brokers/originators run from mortgage requests like that. Paradoxically, they love W-2 income mortgage requests because those loans are easy to process. But not WyHy and their giant partner Servion! They did what no mortgage broker/originator can do -- they get it done regardless of the applicants earning status -- BECAUSE THEY CARE!If you live in Wyoming, or any surrounding state and you need a vehicle loan or a mortgage, especially if you are self employed, run to WyHy (don't walk). They truly made our dreams come true with this home purchase, and I will continue to give them me and my families business and I will continue to tell everyone I know about Brittney and WyHy. They truly deserved it.

Love this bank. They help me once in a while... BUT the phone is so terrible you'll want to change banks despite 4% interest...

Terrible service. WyHy had messed up all of our accounts. Took 4 attemps to get a debit card. Quite the poor job thus far.

If I could put 0 stars I would! I recently lost my father and my mother being upset was told he had to be removed from the accounts. My mother stated NO as he still had checks coming in for life insurance and credits from cards closing. Samantha M. stated she had to and we had to make arraignments to have checks changed over into different names. This woman showed zero sympathy for our situation. And offered no options. As the daughter I went down there to confront the woman who is suppose to be in the business to assist people when there is a problem. I asked this Samantha (who apparently was the only employee working in the entire building) why she could not just put my mother name as primary and his secondary, Samantha stated that's not allowed. I asked for a supervisor, she got teary eyed and asked why I was being so aggressive. I asked for a supervisor again, she said no. I stated we were closing our accounts due to the lack of professionalism, unsympathetic, and obviously not trained well children running this place. Samantha M. stated that was fine to close, she did not care. My parents have had accounts there since 1991. I will say this is not the first time, but this will be the last. We are closing 9 accounts.Public! be advised if you want to be treated well don't have accounts at WYHY FCU. And soon their will only be robots working at this place as they seem to run on a skeleton crew on a regular basis.

Kim C. & Brandy have been so helpful these past few weeks! I have been going through a very tough time and without their help, I’m not sure if I would have made it though. Thank you two for being so kind and being there for me. I will never forget this.

Wish I could leave a 0 start review. I sent someone money through PayPal for a product online. PayPal stated that the bank has to make the dispute with PayPal for them to start the investigation. WyHy refuses to lift a finger to help mec, so now I'm out $720.00. I've had nothing but issues over the last year or two getting in touch with people at WyHy, no responses half the time. They were supposed to call me back 5 days ago on this issue, and never did. I am now closing my accounts and moving everything to my other bank. Do NOT use WyHy. They used to be good, but have gone completely down hill.

Had to change my address and get a new card. Went ahead and used the online live chat and had Terri Burgess help me out and I have to say she was amazing and the in person branch there in Cheyenne is one of the best as well. Out of all they credit union buy out and name changes I have been through being able to walk into the local branch and have them remember me and get good quality and genuine help is the best feeling ever. Shout out to wyhy for all the help and being an overall great place to bank

Absolutely worst banking experience. Tried opening a new account and sent in a mail to Brandi Hill. She went missing in action and I had to call her every day for 10 days before she would reply. Would not recommend this bank at all.

We travel for a living and never have to worry about our cards being shut off and we don't have to call everytime we go somewhere new. We can cover several states in a day. Husband drives truck and I pilot car for him. So always on the go.We rarely have fraudulent charges on our cards but when they do happen the bank catches it everytime. I'm so thankful. Joe Dee is the best and the only one we deal with. For a small fee because we are on the road she will overnight a new card to us.This bank is the best I've ever been with. However I hate using video tellers and atm tellers. I want to do business with a real person. I was told when I joined they were not going to do this but now they are. This is my only complaint. I love this credit union. Small town family.

Don’t have them finance your vehicle. It’s been nothing but problematic and I am sick of it. Looks like my family isn’t the only one experiencing these issues.
