Got my motor rebuilt here and he finished with the motor still randomly knocking telling it was a lifter and that it would go away in time then 2 months passed it was still knocking told him again then said it was something with the computer that i need to take it to the dealer, took it to another mechanic and told me different then i had to get a new motor smh

Older gentleman with his hands in his pockets is a jerk. Like everyone else, he’s too busy. Shop was dirty, unorganized and the grounds were unkept. My money is no good there.

This place was GREAT!!!!!
We had an alternator go out while coming out of Yellowstone, so the car died as we were pulling into this service station. They found a new alternator in town and had it completely replaced within two hours.
I don’t think even my service station at home in Dallas would have had it replaced in that quick of a turnaround time .
So I am leaving them a very good review, five stars all the way, and everyone coming through Cody, Wyoming please use their shop !!!!

Would not recommend ever!!! Strung us along for 3 days after bragging for 15 minutes that he knew everything there is about Fords. Then tells us, "he can't fix it" 3 days later. Was not professional at all. Customer service sucked!!!

Finally, I can trust a mechanic. Kurt is straight forward and knows what he is doing. The folks working there are all good folks who take the time to do things right. I've had brakes, heater blower, and block heater installed at a good price and better than expected results. But the best thing that exemplifies the virtues of this place is that they fixed a chronic problem I've had with my truck for 8 years in just 20 minutes. Five mechanics before were telling me I had to replace the turbos ($4,300) or timing chain ($3,500). One of Kurt's guys figured out the mass-airflow sensor was just dirty. He cleaned it and "poof"...problem gone.

Outstanding service, I definitely recommend Advance Auto Repair. We were passing through on our way to Yellowstone. They were kind enough to fit us in that day. We were able to visit the sights in Cody as planned as they worked on our vehicle.
