We stayed at a nearby lodge and stopped at this store for 4 consecutive days on our way to Yellowstone. Friendly staff, had a good gas station that accepted credit cards and a good inventory of things you need when you are heading to a national park. Slightly on the pricey side but for the location and convenience of being located right on the freeway, can't complain.

Excellent gas station, store, and plenty of a selection. Stopped in for a snack on my way back to Cody from Yellowstone and was glad I did. Store owner is friendly and professional. He was training new staff when I was there and everyone was so helpful. I'll definitely be coming back.

After 4 years it's still one of my favourite travel memories. After a long drive and visiting the Yellowstone Park, I was staying at the nearby Green Creek Inn, and this was the only place hat had any food available in the late evening. And what a treat it was! I was properly welcomed by the owner's granddaughter, who was probably no older than four or five. She was the most capable and cutest personal shopper you could imagine. It also turned out that the owner was from Poland, just like me! We had a nice chat. I gave one of the small toy pigs (it's my thing) I bought as a souvenir earlier on the road trip to the girl, hoping she would have nice memories of me as well.

Best gas east of Yellowstone! Honest pricing and the greater dog is a bonus!

The best store to refill your gas tank around Yellowstone.Visited the store twice in early Oct 2019. Inside the park, gas was $3.30 per gallon, North entrance was $2.85, this store is $2.68.Also, don't forget asking about the Smith's Mansion that is uphill beside the store.

The Red Barn has been an icon of wapiti since I was a child. My folks always got their gas here. Well the place has not changed at all. The same cute place with some basic food items and of course tourist junk. The current owners are friendly. Prices are on the steep side. Lots,of great memories here getting ice cream with my friends.

Red Barn is one of our favorite places to stop on our yearly trip to Yellowstone. The owners are great. We also love the dogs. They manage to get a few treats on our visits. Gas prices are so much better than in Yellowstone. Snacks and t-shirts and sweatshirts are very reasonably priced.
