Yellowstone Valley Inn & RV Park is a nice place to stop and camp when you're out west and exploring the area. It offers a peaceful setting with convenient amenities, making it a great base for your adventures. Whether you're in an RV or staying in one of their cabins, it's a comfortable and welcoming spot close to Yellowstone and other western destinations.

When arriving at the resort I was not sure i would be able to check in as I had dogs. Expedia said dog friendly. And I thought that meant the whole place. Turns out that's just a few cabins and the rv park. But the concierge told me I was in a cabin and not to worry. And he was also not going to charge for the dogs. 3 days into my 5 night stay the front desk calls me to say they see I have a dog in a non dog friendly room. It's the same guy who checked me in. Telling me now to pay a $200 deposit. That "will be refunded " after I left. A week after I left I call to ask about my deposit. And was told I smoked in the room while I was there. I have a 10 year old. I never smoke in the house. No matter where I am. The menu sucks. There is no kids menu. And only 6 things on the whole menu. Guess what. They were out of what my kid wanted. But didn't tell us until she was ordering. I feel like they stole my deposit for some made up reason. And will probably steel from you of given a chance. The area is awsome. But this place is not. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE TO ANYONE. Find somewhere else.

Gorgeous views, gorgeous sunrise, decent value. Comfy bed, clean, quiet.
No food avail and the coffee wasn’t great. Read the food reviews and they were bad so we had planned to eat in town anyways!
Staff didn’t seem to be onsite at all but again, we didn’t need them to be.

What a horrible experience! It's started with the front desk staff spouting her political views, and then belittling the near by campsites, and they recommended them. We were over charged ( a few for online reservations), the hot tub was nasty and the whole area was infested with mosquitoes. When asked for a refund because a change in date, instead of trying to nicely explain they don't do refunds, the same front desk person was rude and condescending . Anytime there was a question about anything on the property ( bathrooms, coffee shop, dinning) the staff always referred to a map that looked it was laid out by a middle schooler.Show some love and go to another campsite.

I've tasted a grizzly dish, but the tomato was really acid.

We stayed in the RV Park in a motorhome. Sites were level, electric was good and the whole place was clean. The restaurant had great food, great service and everyone was super friendly and helpful. There was a great community area behind the office with fire pits and chairs. Also chairs along the creek which is where we sat in the evening to watch the sunset after exploring Yellowstone all day. Highly recommend!

This business is in complete disrepair right now they claim they are renovating but so many things are still broken in the room bathtub, bathroom fan, bathroom door wouldn't close, key card wouldn't work, terrible views out the window not to mention 3 story rooms with no access to stairs nearby nor any of the elevators working at all no sound proofing in room so when there are tons of people in the pool area making loud noises until 11 o’clock at night it keeps you up and there was multiple complaints last night about that. They have a ginormous pool room, but no hot tub? And it even looks to be in terrible disrepair right When you pull up to the parking lot in my experiences with dealing with hotels, this was one of the worst i dont mind if your gonna renovate to make things nicer but you shouldn't charge people to stay in rooms your still renovating!!! WTH And There Making This A Choice Hotel YIKES
Rooms: Nice bed but dirty sheets and blankets overall bad stay
Safety: Very unsafe carpets not tacked down nails and screws on walking surfaces plaster everywhere doors that dont work fans that dont work
Walkability: Very long hallways, that are not well lit or labeled no way to tell where your room is its like a maze not a map
Noteworthy details: Very disorganized, and incomplete nice customer service though

We booked 3 days 4/10/24. My husband then had to have urgent open heart surgery and we had to cancel. They had made us pay in advance for all of the stay. We gave them 6 weeks notice. We booked through Expedia. When we called the hotel we were told to go through Expedia. Expedia made several attempts to contact the hotel. We called the hotel and they said since we booked through Expedia, they are not issuing any refund. We were also told to NEVER book through Expedia. They kept $600 of our money. I say NEVER use this business. They have no compassion and just want to be greedy and keep money they are not entitled to. I could not post this without giving them at least 1 star; make no mistake-ZERO stars given.

Rv'rs from So Cal we are so..
Saw this place, booked it off we went
Positive
They do have it all and then some. Nicest staff, Hotel accomodations, a store, a restaurant a gift shop sorta place. And a winding river on the edge of camp that is less than 1/4 mi from any campsite.
Downside
All Dg and a mix of gravel
Positive
Full hook ups that are easy to locate, Water, Electricity, and that River
Downside
All Dg and a mix of gravel
Positive
Did I mention clean restrooms and a laundry facility and a really cool River
Downside
The Dg and a mix of Rocks and gravel
Positive
Patches of grass here n there for your Furkid, largest is 30-40sqft and yup. Water.
But really, overall, great experience, lots of scenery but not much greenery at YVI vs. other Rv campgrounds we had seen coming in from Cody.
