“Stayed for 1 night with one room with 2 queen beds. The room was super spacious and clean. It felt consistent with other Candlewood Suites I’ve been to. The staff was quick to answer and help with the shower diverter I’ve never seen before (which you pull down). Water pressure was great and strong enough to my liking. I don’t recall too much outside noise infiltrating into the room. Overall, a pleasant stay. I would stay again here if I’m in the area.
It’s not a deal breaker, but the only odd thing was that I noticed was there wasn’t a toilet seat cover.”
“We just finished a 9 night stay. I have nothing but good things to say. We had 3 dogs with us and we were put back kinda by ourselves which I’m sure are the rooms designed for pets and it was perfect. The door to take them out was super close to our room and we could also park right outside that door as well.
We didn’t end up using the pool but peaked in on it and it was beautiful.
We did order food a few times from the restaurant and picked it up to take back to the room and it was all delicious!
Oh and our room came with a drink ticket food for a drink every night we stayed.
Front desk staff were super friendly as well!
As was the housekeepers and maintenance men that were around periodically working on some remodel I assume.

“Clean rooms, easy parking, good breakfast, nice pool area. 1 tiny problem that would have made it better was having a person to watch the water slides. Some of the other parents were not watching their kids, and the larger ones would go down 6-8 at a time. They almost plowed into some of the smaller kids more than a couple of times. Eventually, all the smaller kids' parents pulled their kids from this area, and it became just the same group running up and going down. More than a few occasions, they'd block the water slide, and water would come pouring over the sides of the platform, and the drains couldn't keep up with it. Our kids had fun just the same though so it wasn't a bother for our group. We'd just watch and laugh with the other parents. Night time was quiet, and we had a great rest. Will recommend and will most likely use again.”
“I needed a hotel unexpectedly. Checked reviews & this property came in with wonderful reviews. I could see why when I got there. The girl on the front desk, Nikki, was so friendly & accommodating. The room was clean & comfortable. Morning staff was just as friendly & accommodating. Would stay here again.”
“This hotel was a really nice stay for the price. Everything was clean and in good working order. The decor was a bit vintage, but in a charming way. It was fairly quiet, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The price can’t be beat; I would definitely stay here again the next time I’m in Gillette.”
“Located down town and across the street from 2 car rental locations, the Alamo was absolutely perfect for me....I had a 2 week stay, and everything was perfect. Easy access to the washing machines, very friendly staff....and in close proximity to several great restaurants.
Would stay there again.”
“With everyone posting bad reviews I have to say this it is a quiet nice travelers motel the beds were soft and comfortable the rooms were solid enough you couldn't here neighbors and the lite breakfast was appropriate
The manager in the evening was very helpful and polite

“We stayed here the other night while we were in town traveling with ND Country Fest! This place is right across from the Cam Plex which is really nice! The hotel and rooms were very nice looking and were well up kept! Breakfast area was nice as well! Pool and Hot tub were a nice addition to our stay as well! Hope to stay here again next time we are in town!”
