“I have a love for objects that hold stories and this store is full of them! The quality and craftsmanship of everything in here is unmatched. They have such a unique selection and the owners Kate and her husband are so sweet. I visited last year on my trip to Jackson Hole and it was definitely a highlight. My husband purchased a beanie he loved and ended up later losing it. I contacted Grit General on instagram and asked if they had a replacement. They reached out to their supplier in Japan and had one sent to me! Unmatched customer service.”

“Stopped by the store on Monday to inquire about a guided fly fishing trip for my son and myself. Guys at the store were knowledgeable and friendly, and we booked an afternoon trip on the Snake River south of Jackson. Our guide was Paul, and he was awesome!! Gave us both an amazing fly fishing lesson from the boat right before we started to fish. My son caught 6 Cutthroat and I got about 10. I highly recommended Paul for your guide! Thanks for an amazing day making memories with my 11 year old.

“We were on a cruise to Alaska and one of our ports were in Skagway. We went into The shirt off my back store we looked around for awhile cause the store is a good size. We bought 4 hoodies all different styles. The one we got for my daughter (we didn't notice till we got back home) the strings in the hood were lop sided one is up to your ear the other down by the collar where I thought they were supposed to both be. I contacted the company. They got back to me within an hour! The guy said it's a European style that is how it is supposed to be. He showed me a pic of the exact same hoodies in another store. The style we got even tho it has a hood is meant to be worn down. Even tho it is the style and there is nothing wrong with it the guy still offered to reimburse me if I sent it back. I chose not to. So ya I had a good experience with contacting customer service. Would recommend this store for souvenir type clothing. Alaska was AMAZING! Such a great trip!”

“As a local, Jackson Hole Pendleton is one of my go to gift shops for clients, friends and family. I've purchased several blankets and pieces of clothing here. I especially love the Jack Knife Blanket Beige - one of their more contemporary pieces designed with our local ranch brands. Great textures to add warmth and style to any home. I actually have one of their blankets on my bed right now. Their staff has always been super kind and helpful when choosing between too many great options. The location on Town Square is very convenient and walkable from everything downtown. Simply put - quality products that last generations. I'll keep coming back!”

I love that it’s locally owned by a woman who loves what she does. The buyers are spot on each season with amazing items—I can always find a few things I love! Solomon helped me with everything, to where I could find something that worked for me, I will definitely be coming back. Very friendly and warm welcoming, I would recommend this place to anyone looking for something nice and quality.
