I brought my autistic son and his service dog to the shop and shop owners dog attacked my son’s service dog, denying us access to the shop. We were looking forward to shopping here but unfortunately the owners dog was aggressive towards us. This could have been a huge liability and scared my son half to death. Please do better at making sure you allow access to ALL. ADA requires you to do so!Edit to reply to reply:When we approached the door the dog in the store greeted us at the door. Our service dog was scared for some reason and hid behind us. The staff grabbed the collar of the dog in the store and led them to the back. I thought for SURE that this dog was going back to a closed room or something while we shop with our service dog, so we re-entered the store. It was 30-45 seconds later that the dog in the store bolted out from the back in a very aggressive manner (barking fast and loud etc) and pounced on on service dog. The dogs handler or store owner or whoever yeller at their dog “no no no!” as I moved in quickly to protect our beloved service dog. My son, my self and our dog obviously headed for the exit as quickly as possible. As we hurried out the door I heard several ‘sorry’s’. I’m sorry, but sorry doesn’t cut it. Your dog wanted to play? Please…. He was attacking our service dog in an aggressive and territorial fashion, EXACTLY like another reviewer on here experienced. Your dog should have been LOCKED up after the first encounter at the door, but I suppose the staff didn’t think there was going to be an issue. But there SURE was.

Excellent full service bike shop with low employee turnover - a rarity these days. This crew knows their stuff and are great to work with!

I have been in several times and they have been super kind and helpful to me. I had an issue with my tires and they walked me through how to fix it. They went above and beyond for us. The employees are passionate about what they do. This is hands down the best bike shop I have ever been to.

Impressed with this place! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. I hate bike shops, they feel cluttered and dirty. This shop was clean, had space to move between bikes, and had a pleasing atmosphere.

The team is here is super helpful and very easy to work with! I came into town solo looking for fat bike trail recommendations. They took the time to give me places to go and helped to make sure I had all the equipment I needed for three days of fun in the snow. If you are a novice or expert I highly recommend making Fitzgerald’s Bicycles your one stop shop for all your bike needs.

Really friendly staff, great puppies. Rented a fat bike and threw in the mitts and helmet for no extra cost. Fair pricing for the rental. Highly recommend. A great local shop!

Would give negative stars if I could. My service dog and I were assaulted by two large dogs as soon as I opened the door to the shop! What was worse was the workers, who obviously owned the mutts, did nothing about it. We were physically assaulted by one dog, brown in color, 4 times!!! I was holding my dog in my arms because their dogs wouldn't stop and they were climbing on me like that is what I was there for!!! No apology from anyone... What kind of humans run this place?!?!We just left and bought my $7000 bike at another local shop. Will never return here and will warn humans away. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE experience. Shame on all of you. Despicable to allow your pets to attack my service dog and me, a human who requires a service dog. Just despicable.Love how we were assaulted and ignored the entire process (4 times over) by ALL employees present but then receive a response to this review within less than 30 minutes. Shows how little they care about actual customer service compared to what they want to show online. Two completely different worlds!

In town on vacation when I decided to replace the tires on my Trek gravel bike to a wider set so I could go on more single track and sandy conditions. Greta was very helpful in tracking down a larger set that would meet my needs. When the tires were installed they noticed the brake pads were also badly worn. Got those replaced as well. Very professional, friendly and eager to address my needs. I could not have asked for better service.

I want to share our experience with Fitzgerald Bikes in Jackson that we had today. We had been put on a "wait" list for 2 bikes since this past Spring and we received a call last week that 2 bikes had arrived that were what we wanted and the correct size. My wife and I were out of town until this week and they offered to "hold" them until we arrived. Given all the crap going on these days with despair, sadness, uncertainty, and doubt -- what a wonderful business Fitzgerald Bikes is. Positive attitudes in the entire store. We worked with Greta, but EVERYONE in the store is incredibly friendly, helpful, sincere, and not even the least amount of condescending behavior. It is no wonder why this store succeeds. These people "live" cycling and are so gracious to educate. Thank you so much for such a positive experience. Praise Job!!!
