Our company had the absolutely worst experience with this Hertz Car Rental location. The lady that "assisted" my CEO on 09/23/2023 was incredibly rude and almost caused my CEO to miss his returning flight home due to the lack of communication provided. Not to mention that she didn't pick-up the phone until the 6th time of him attempting to call. Hertz had failed to inform my CEO that they no longer had an active contract with the airport to accept his returning rental until less than an hour of his flight taking off. If this is any indication of the type of "customer service" Hertz wishes to provide as an impression, it is abundantly clear why people prefer their competitors.

Worse Hertz experience. The front lady (Blond hair) gives me a SUV which is a gas guzzler so I tell her I reserved a large sedan and she said she doesn't have it and did'nt offer anything else. So I asked her what else do you have and she said escalade but there will be additional cost. Then she said there will be $435 deposit for my current rental. Wow, I have never had this kind of experience. I have a gold plus membership, I usually get a free upgrade and other perks. Not a good experience for me.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This is not in regards to the company or issue with the quality of the car. But the employee at the desk, has to be hands down the MOST horrendous, unprofessional woman I have had to deal with. It took her 25 minutes to process our rental return and had the audacity to time these minutes to our contract resulting in Hertz charging us extra hours. We now have to pay the price of her incompetence…

Beware. Do not rent from Hertz in Jackson Hole under any circumstances. They are a disaster of a place. I rented an SUV on my first trip to Jackson Hole and checked around the car to make sure there were no scratches or dents. I made note on the paper the clerk gave me and walked back into the office to tell her there were three spots that were scratched and marked on the car, as I have done on all my car rentals on so many other occasions. The girl I spoke to questioned what I was saying. She was rude, sarcastic and arrogant and had little patience for me reporting anything to her. I simply wanted to make her aware and it turned into a mission that really told me these folks are a disaster. Once I got in the car, it was dirty. That only made things worse. I got so fed up and decided to just get out of there and take the car regardless of the staff and condition of the car but won’t ever be renting from Hertz here again.

Our car was brand new and we never had to wait for a shuttle to get to and from the airport. My only complaint is that the car rental station was moved out of the airport to about 25 minutes away and very little effort was put into notifying us of the change after we made our reservation.

20 minutes ago near Jackson WY, I witnessed a Hertz rental BUS being driven recklessly, speeding, and crossing double unbroken yellows. When the Jackson office were called and informed of it, you responded that you "didn't care"... I hope you will tell that to the family of this drivers victim/s if he happens to injure someone driving like that. Pathetic.To view the incident, search on YouTube for... NEVER AGAIN will we rent through Hertz, Dollar or Thrifty car rentals (all owned by Hertz)! Good luck if you get so much as a chip in the windshield! Good luck if the exterior of the car is dirty...they will charge you a cleaning fee of $450 (we didn't even receive a clean car upon pickup). Good luck if you purchased insurance through a third party! What an absolute nightmare that I've been working on for six weeks now and not any further ahead!!

Very weird off market Hertz. Unlike most Hertz locations almost all the rentals price at a non unlimited mileage rate (30c per mile). Most people don’t know this and when they get to the counter they fight with the staff over the terms (which understandably are weird bc this is very much not market in the US). I had a corporate rate so didn’t affect me but really annoying to have to wait 45 minutes to pick up car (on top of off airport transfer time which is not small) bc everyone felt the need to argue with the agency about their bizarre terms. Really think they should just offer unlimited mileage like every other agency in the country.

Wonderful experience at this Hertz location. Its 30 mins away from the JAC airport. Initially I was little skeptical because I had a late evening and early morning flight. But their pickup and drop is service was always on time. I returned the vehicle at 4:30 am and got the shuttle at 4:45 which was a breeze. They are also very considerate keep the toilets open even though the office was closed early morning. Also there was free coffee for the customers. The crew helps you with loading and unloading your luggage also. Highly recommended. Thank you

I rarely leave negative reviews-please consider this a PSA.They are about 20 minutes shuttle ride away from airport, to the west. So if you are considering going to the Tetons, make it about an hour to just pick up the car. 40 minutes of a messy ride through the town traffic, 10-15 minutes to pick up the car, 5-15 minutes each way to wait for the shuttle.They don’t even have an airport drop off.It is a cheap shady tactic to upsell their business as an airport rental.This rental agency should not even show up in the list when looking for airport car rental.This agency also does not accept your personal car insurance-every other big name car rental including typical hertz does.

I checked in here after a long day of travel and David was so welcoming and got me completely taken care of. He put me in an amazing vehicle that was spotless and even pulled it up and helped me load my bags. Above and beyond amazing service and great fleet.

I don't usually leave a negative review but I really want to put this on other's radar. This has been so far the least satisfying car rental experience I have, and I even have to deal with the follow-up issues.First of all, I didn't feel welcomed when I was there, and the person who processed my rental didn't seem knowledgeable enough about the process and the system. I had to wait to pick up my car.Here's the thing: always take pictures. I was glad I took a picture of the dashboard for the mileage record because we later realized it was shown in kilometers, not miles. The staff didn't even pay attention to this. We only realized it after we return the car, but we made an immediate call to them about this. The person said they have nothing to do at this point, and didn't even call back to follow up. Eventually we still being charged in kilometers, which is about 2 times greater than miles. Now we have to report to hertz dealing with the inaccurate mileage record and extra charge. Very frustrating.I don't know if this car has been used by other customers and they were also charged in extra high miles because of the kilometers setting. But always be mindful of these details.

Let me save you a lot of aggravation. Do not use this Hertz. It is not a real Hertz. It is a franchise. That means making a change is super expensive and often impossible because they only operate during business hours. They are way off the airport, and depending where you were staying in Jackson Hall, it could add an hour to your drop off and delivery. The people that work there are great and try to be accommodating, but they are so restricted on what they can do.

Pricy for a Ford Edge SUV. But it's that time of year. The service was friendly and professional. The vehicle was just right and performed very well in the park system. Drop off was a snap.

Last week we took a trip to grand teton and yellowstone. we rented a car at Hertz in jackson hole. It was a very disappointing experience. First we were given a vehicle that the next day turned out to have a flat tire. They changed it for us, however the assistant wanted to charge us for the gasoline that we had already used in the first vehicle, which seemed ridiculous and unfair to us. The agency manager was very kind and helped us. we were delivered a new vehicle but after driving several miles we realized that the air conditioning in this car was not working.In conclusion, we will never use Hertz again, it's crazy that they don't have reliable vehicles. As if that were not enough, although we had already paid the full cost through priceline, Hertz was charging three days supposedly because they were extra days.It will definitely be the last time we use Hertz. we have never had a problem with avis, enterprice.
