Teton Tails
515 W Broadway Ave, JacksonThis store has a remarkable selection of pet supplies. A year ago I bought Travel Cat harnesses for my boys, and I went back the other day to get two more in a bigger size. Pet Care

VCA Animal Care Hospital
70 S Gros Ventre St, JacksonI was traveling through Jackson when my dog needed her prescription medication, from the minute I called all the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They were able to fit us in quickly and Ella enjoyed visiting them. Thank you, we will be back next year !

Jackson Animal Hospital
274 E Broadway Ave, JacksonGreat experience here. Had a bit of a dog emergency. Called and staff was very helpful on the phone. Arrived with the dog and the doctor squeezed her in, took care of her issue with a minor surgical procedure and gave us clear and concise instructions for home care. I don’t live in Jackson but if I did I would use these folks for my vet care needs.

VCA Spring Creek Animal Hospital
1035 W Broadway, JacksonYou never want to meet a Vet for the first time with a pet emergency, but that is how I meet Spring Creek Animal Hospital. From the minute I walked in carrying my injured puppy the over the top care and treatment started! From the front desk, to the techs to the Drs, everyone was amazing! Even though my little guy didn’t make it, I know the highly trained medical team did EVERYTHING medically possible to treat Louie. I truly appreciate how they would give thorough and often updates, that were truthful to not give me false hope, but in such a caring compassionate way! Not only did they take care of my dog they took care of this stressed out sobbing dad. This was the hardest day of my life, but the staff made it a comforting and loving goodbye to my little Louie ❤️ Thank you thank you thank you ❤️❤️
It will be awhile before I can open my heart to another dog, but when I do, Spring Creek WILL BE my clinic of choice!

Pet Sitting & Training

DogJax
3590 S Park Dr, JacksonDogjax were fantastic! We had to make a last minute booking in July after our sitter fell through and they were able to accommodate. From the moment we walked in the door the staff showed care & compassion for my dog. They took the time to answer any questions I had and actually cared about any special needs my dog had. The facility looked clean and well maintained and I observed staff members supervising & interacting with the dogs at all times I was there. Great experience all around.

Persephone Bakery
145 E Broadway Ave, JacksonCame here to grab a few pastries to bring along the road to Yellowstone. I asked the staff their favorites and ended up getting Cinnamon Brioche and Caramel Apple Croissant.
The former I ate it while doing Seven Mild Hole trail and the latter I had it during exploring Norris Geyser Basin.
They were both amazing!

Virginian Restaurant
740 W Broadway, JacksonThe Virginian Restaurant is what you’d expect of a hometown breakfast cafe. Nothing notable about the atmosphere and decor other than some historic photos and antiques. Food was good service was good and very clean. It’s locally owned and operated.

Cafe Genevieve
135 E Broadway Ave, JacksonService was quick. Indoor and outdoor seating options. I had one of the eggs Benedict's as well as the fruit bowl & loved the meal. For the first time, a fruit bowl was an adequate portion for the price of one. Food was so good I considering coming back again on the same trip.

King Sushi
75 S King St, JacksonIncredible sushi (especially rolls), cozy ambiance if you can get a table, but lackluster and curt service (more below).
This was the first time we were able to get seats despite a number of separate trips to Jackson, so we were pretty excited - the food did not disappoint and I’ll talk more about that in a second, but the service was a bummer, especially given the price point. The staff is clearly differential and much warmer to locals, which I somewhat understand, but we tried to be especially kind and patient and they were disinterested and blunt. We tried to place a to go order as we were leaving because we wanted to bring some rolls back for some family, and long story short we ended up waiting for about an extra 30 minutes, but there was a mixup and the order was never actually placed, though we had already paid for the rolls. They re-ran the check and removed the rolls we didn’t get, but us like we were an inconvenience and an offer any form of compensation. Having worked in hospitality, I would’ve handled it very differently.
That said, the food was incredible and genuinely some of the best sushi rolls I’ve ever had in my life! The Roo was incredible! The nigiri was definitely high-quality fish, and we really enjoyed the albacore tuna and the salmon as standouts. I would probably pass on the hand rolls, but the gyoza and pork belly buns were delicious. Next time (if we are so luck), would love to try the crunchy tuna rice!

Atelier Ortega
150 Scott Ln, JacksonBest chocolate cake I've ever had, they surely know how to make desserts, 5/5 for food.
However the man (I guess the owner/manager) could work a bit on communication side. While his intentions might be good, his tone and choice of words can leave a bad overall impression.

The Bird
4125 US-89 #6, JacksonThis is comfort food at it's finest! The staff are friendly and efficient. The vibe here is perfect for sitting on the patio and watching the sunset. It's also the kind of place to make a new friend since you'll most likely be sharing a picnic table.
