Arrived with the dog and the doctor squeezed her in, took care of her issue with a minor surgical procedure and gave us clear and concise instructions for home care. I don’t live in Jackson but if I did I would use these folks for my vet care needs.

1035 W Broadway, JacksonYou never want to meet a Vet for the first time with a pet emergency, but that is how I meet Spring Creek Animal Hospital. From the minute I walked in carrying my injured puppy the over the top care and treatment started! From the front desk, to the techs to the Drs, everyone was amazing! Even though my little guy didn’t make it, I know the highly trained medical team did EVERYTHING medically possible to treat Louie. I truly appreciate how they would give thorough and often updates, that were truthful to not give me false hope, but in such a caring compassionate way! Not only did they take care of my dog they took care of this stressed out sobbing dad. This was the hardest day of my life, but the staff made it a comforting and loving goodbye to my little Louie ❤️ Thank you thank you thank you ❤️❤️
It will be awhile before I can open my heart to another dog, but when I do, Spring Creek WILL BE my clinic of choice!

From the moment we walked in the door the staff showed care & compassion for my dog. They took the time to answer any questions I had and actually cared about any special needs my dog had. The facility looked clean and well maintained and I observed staff members supervising & interacting with the dogs at all times I was there. Great experience all around.

1110 Maple Way b, JacksonWe stopped by Picnic on our last morning in Jackson and before the flight home. There is plenty of parking in the lot and along the street. The restaurant is cute and clean. The yute ordered a Bada Bing (Italian meat style) and he devoured it. He said it was delicious. I had the Chicken Zattar panini and it was also delicious with a thick piece of moist chicken inside. I saved half for the flight. The lady had a cup of lentil soup and it was great. For deserts we had pumpkin bread, thick chewy chocolate chip cookie and a double chocolate chip cookie that was fantastic. There is a water dispenser near the front of the store also. Great place to eat. Super friendly staff. Even met a lady working there that was a friend of a girl that is brother to guy that is dating my brother's daughter - Wyoming, Texas, Louisiana connection. 135 E Broadway Ave, JacksonPleasant surprise to find this darling cafe tucked away just off the square. I actually prefer this place to ANY of the other breakfast places in town. Cute decor. Our server, Cole, was simply fantastic. She was out of her mind busy, but we didn’t suffer for it at all. She was friendly and just darling.
The corned beef hash was, yes, wonderful, and I haven’t had a bowl of grits this good on this side of the Mississippi.
The salads that I passed by on other people’s tables looked so good!! I’m definitely going to go again when I’m ready for lunch and try one of those arugula salads.

25 S Glenwood St, JacksonOne of the best breakfast burritos I’ve ever had, so it’s a 5⭐️ for the food, but the service is consistently neutral to annoyed, which is why I’m giving 4⭐️. Would love to see them be more kind/warm in interactions with customers!
As for the burrito itself, the potatoes are so crispy, plenty of cheese, and I personally go for spicy! The fresh jalapeños are delicious, and I’m glad they aren’t pickled. Also plenty of meat in the burrito, which is nice!
