Nice grocery store but terrible donut selection, try Albertsons if that's what you're searching for.

The store is amazing, and is pretty much the same as Ralph’s. It has everything and also has a nice pharmacy, where we were able to buy everything we were looking for. The service is great.

I wish there were a negative rating. Been shopping at this smiths since it opened. Not only for myself but clients also. In there at least three times a week. What's been happening to it is shamefull. Specially the last six mts.. The employees are rude. Fewer and fewer speak English. The store always looks like it's going out of business. Dirty, shelves empty . Was in there today. The produce was shamefull. Wilted and mushy. Sad. The prices have gone way up while producing package size. It's now a 7-11 with a meat department. Over priced, low quality food , no selection with angry people you can't understand working there. Update. Three years later and nothing has changed but the prices. Up 35 percent in two years. High prices compounded by rude people. We need another grocery store.

kroger needs to pay their employees more in areas where they charge 3x the normal price for items aka tourist destinations!!!! ie. near Glacier, Sedona, Moab, etc. i cannot imagine being a resident of jackson and shopping here, i’d be so bummed. we are traveling through on a cross country trip and in touristy areas, the kroger chain is lacking in stocked shelves, any fresh produce, and cashiers. today, the produce section was so sad and there was one register and one set of self checkout open— resulting in a line of at least 25 people. ultimately, a frustrating shopping experience. kroger certainly can afford to pay people fair wages and maybe we wouldn’t see this issue as frequently.

I’m writing this purely based off the service at the grocery pick-up. Sean is always ready to bring out your groceries and is very friendly and kind! People going out of their way to be kind to others can really make someone’s day. What a great employee, way to go!

Smiths is part of Kroger family so if you are from southeast you will feel right at home in Smiths. Seemed well stocked. Clean. Polite staff. Got through line quickly.

Good grocery store with a nice selection. The meat department is pretty good, steaks, seafood and fish selections. Our favorite in Jackson.

Tried to buy seafood and asked to have it from the freezer in the back and not the thawed items in the display. Wanted to put them directly into my freezer for eating at a later time. Have always done this with no issue. Not today. Employee behind the counter would not do it. Spoke with manager, seemed incredulous I request this when buying seafood (that I'm not going to eat right away), and it was obvious he could have cared less. Just left without getting into it any longer with him. Terrible service!

CHRCK EXPIRATION DATES on everything. In one visit I found items in the bread section, produce, condiments and cheese that were all expired. Some by a few days and condiments that expired in 2022. My last trip here I found expired items too. And my bread that was supposed to be good was moldy….

This is the same as Harris Teeter, Fred Meyer, Ralph's, etc. per my partner, has the cheapest groceries in Jackson. Was very clean and had several self-check-out kiosks. Can request no receipt, which automatically makes it four stars. Good fruit selection. Idk it's a standard chain grocery store. You can ride there on the bike path, which is cool!

I am frequently charged more than the price at the display. I have been charged for a higher quantity of produce items than I received. Someone has to label the shelves correctly. Audit the prices. Albertsons gets it right.

Today I arrive at the store to do shopping whiley daughter was getting her nails done and hady grandson with me, I gave my daughtery credit card to pay for her nails thinking I could use my other Credit card to shop. Upon cashing out at the store my credit card needed a pin I did not have so I decided to leave the items and go out. The manager, Hispanic gentleman came out of store after me asking if he could pay for my products if it was really something I needed ( I had plants and some random shopping items in cart). His name was Florine I believe. That was the kindest most unselfish act of kindnesss anyone has ever said to me, was ma'am I can pay for this if you need it. I have to say thank you to him, I am sorry if I had his name wrong, as I asked as he was walking away, I called to speak to the manager to express my gratitude to this gentleman to discover he was that gentleman that wanted to help me. People like this in the world are so far between and so uncommon that when you are able to encounter and meet a person with such this heart, it needs to be appreciated and recognized. Please, as a community, or anyone who reads this, let's give back to this wonderful kind caring gentleman who offered a woman with a baby help not knowing her circumstances.
