Recently purchased two pair of board shorts and within a few days they were on sale for a substantially lower price. I visited the store in Jackson Wyoming and spoke with what I think was a manager and asked for a credit for the difference. I was shut down instantly and she was very obtuse about the entire situation. She proceeded to argue with me about other stores and how they don’t do that for their customers as well. I assure you she is wrong. REI has done this countless times for me. The fact that I didn’t get a credit is NOT the reason for my one star review. The poor and unprofessional customer service is solely the reason for my review. I will not purchase anything from STIO again. I paid $160 for two pairs of shorts. With this kind of pricing one would think you would get professional quality customer service.

This location is a missed marketing opportunity. Very small space and not particularly unique compared to other Stio shops. I kinda thought that given the brand was based in Jackson, the location in Jackson would be larger or special. It would be cool if they did something more with this location as a “home base” to enhance the customer experience or build customer loyalty.

Great customer service, engaging to see if I needed help with any thing. 3 employees that have went above and beyond what I had ever expected a gentleman I forgot his name taller blonde hair mid 20s, a young women that worked on Saturday along with the gentleman I had forgotten his name, I’m super bad with names. But Martha she has been so helpful, knowledgeable, and uses Her Stio magic to get what the customer needs and what they are looking for. All 3 above and beyond. Extremely satisfied with the broadway Stio store in downtown Jackson and employees.

All my winter gear is from Stio. It's the local Jackson brand beyond Patagonia.

Stio gear is overpriced. Men's sizing is weird. For the price, the quality seems to be lacking - clothes always feel a little cheap and don't hold up for very long. Stio has done a good job of marketing themselves as the local JH brand, but their gear just doesn't cut it. Do yourself a favor and stick with Patagonia.

I love Stio. I've bought a bunch of their clothes. I just bought a pair of pants last week. I was so excited to finally get into the flagship store while visiting Jackson Hole from Salt Lake City. I just need to make this comment because it's really a shame to have such a beautiful high-end store here but the two women that were working there this evening basically had personalities of zero. They stood behind the desk the entire time, did not make eye contact with anyone unless we came up to them. Even when I bought a pair of pants, I felt like I was a nuisance invading their private territory. This would have been a 10 star review had they just been even a little bit personable. Maybe one smile. I have to admit this put a damper on my visit here.

This store seems to be run by high school kids or just out of high school with zero training. The employees and managers, I feel have zero education on retail sales /marketing of customer relations and have this cavalier attitude that they are above the clients and are able to make false accusations make up lies and portray their lack of experience and being unknowledgeable about the product and huge lack of experience! Now the clothes are cool and well made but the core managers know absolutely nothing and I would bet they lack in commerce education on Marketing,Retail Sales and my experience and evidence is because they have a 2 star rating on Yelp and a 3 star rating on google reviews and that is a fact of under achieving the goals of running a 5 star successful biz The culture in the company sucks and they need to hear it. They also have 14 more 1star reviews below that are unpublished that says exactly the same experiences I have had myself If the 14 reviews below were published and included into the total rating they would have less then 1stat rating The place really has less then 1star rating in my book if we took i to Consideration the 14 one star reviews unpublished that are legitimate So with that being said we have so many 4 star and 5 star ratings of reputable high quality ski wear shops here jackson hole with terrific brands there is no need to waste your money on 1500 dollar ski outfits here from this ungrateful inexperienced company I want everyone to know I wasted over 10 k in this store and had to argue with them to stand behind a 650 dollar ski jacket I just bought with a flimsy skimpy thin plastic zipper that's isn't a high quality zipper that can stand up to heavy wear and argue with a child that insulted me and the staff stuck up for her laughing about the issue at hand like it's a joke then proceeded to lie about my behavior when I was legitimately correct By the way I rushed to handle this issue with them and they knew I was about to arrive in 5 mins and they closed the store down early to avoid me and that was even more provocative and immature of a professional quality staff after spending over 10 k in their store The owner Mr Sullivan should recognize the short falls of his staff and make the proper adjustments Andrew Swersky I hope Yelp doesn't burry this review with the rest of the unpublished 1 star reviews below You possibly can't sit there and explain away so many one star reviews and walk away as a credible reputable ski wear shop as if we are all wrong and defend your poor rating like everyone else lis ultimately wrong and come up with excuses to back and support the unprofessional disrespectful attitudes by your unhelpful disrespectful employees and grow your biz ! We have so many ski shops packed and busy that are reputable and staffed with highly professional knowledgeable experienced staff that are grateful to go out of their way to be helpful when we spend thousands on this gear ! No need to waste your time here when we have Teton Sports and so many others with way better of a selection and grateful polite staff and they all have 4-5 star ratings not like Stio with its super poor ratings and poor reviews! It's just unexceptionable and tine to stop defending this negative culture that exists in the shop with this brand here and pretend it's the clients and the staff is doing great work cause it's failed and continues to fail the owner ! And the employees could care less if this company doesn't ever rise to its true capabilities They need to start completely over with a new management core including this crazy lady from HR that's crosses over to handle customer relations and treats the clients as employees that need to be Disciplined by her The staff acts like a high school. Frat house that no one can ever let them know that the store and the staff has let them down with out them becoming bindi and in a state of denial and contestant defense so they never have to admit that the sales team and the manager and the culture of this group is

I thought I had found my Forever Ski Apparel company in Stio. I purchased a pair of Environ Bibs and after a half season of wearing them, they incurred a tear in the mid-thigh after normal use. When I submitted a warranty/replacement claim they informed my that "This tear appears to be incidental damage, so unfortunately, that is not covered under warranty." Compared to experiences I've had with OR and Patagonia, Stios policies around assuring that their products live up to basic quality standards is way below the industry standard. I love their colors and fit but if you choose to purchase their products, just be very very careful using them.
