Couldn’t take something on my plane back home, so I shipped it back to my place, and it was a breeze. The guy at the counter was super nice and had a smile on his face the whole time, even while dealing with two gen z’ers. It was quick even with a line!

This Post Office is the epitome of the fraud, waste, and abuse Trump is talking about. They’re short staffed, so give them that, but the horrible attitude, lack of service, and flat out incompetence is like no other. If there was a “worse post office in the U.S. award” they would be the recipient 10 years and counting.

My journey of trying to find a long lost package in this black hole of the USPS continues. At the time of this review, this branch has 1.5 star rating. I'm giving one star because the two people behind the counter did not seem to give a flip about trying to help me find my packages. They just sent me to the other post office on a wild goose chase. When I returned to this post office at the direction of the other post office I was given the runaround again and told very snarkily to come back early in the morning so that the person could try to do tracking. When asked when they're just going to return it to sender, the person just threw up their hands and said oh that takes weeks around here.
I've always defended the post office because I do know that they have been systematically and intentionally defunded and deteriorated over the years. Overall, I've had very good luck using US postal Service, but this little town of Jackson, Wyoming th PO is just a big joke. Everybody knows it. Everybody talks about it. If you want really good postal service go down to Alpine and get your mail from there.

We had an unfortunate experience at this USPS location with an employee named Diana, who was dismissive, unprofessional and condescending. When we asked about shipping a specific item, she gave us a rude response despite there being a poster on the wall clearly outlining what was permitted for shipment. Thankfully, another employee provided accurate information and assistance.
Just a note for future visitors: Wyoming is a one-party consent state for recording conversations, if you ever need to document interactions at this location.

The staff are all very nice but it’s unbelievably disorganized and dysfunctional. I’ve had so many properly addressed packages get lost or misdelivered at this post office. And everything is delayed all the time, huge lines too.

Absolutely awful. Lady just pointed me out of the post office to the door and told me they were closed (it was 4:50 pm.) Very rude. Not to mention delivery here sucks and things are often returned to sender due to insufficient address.

The people who work here are friendly and hard-working but the management is terrible An excess number of packages are returned to sender. USPS will return any package to the sender that is addressed to my home address (and everyone else's) and not my/Their PO box. Fedex and ups will ship to my home. If I dont catch that it is shipped through USPS I am screwed.

Probably some of the rudest most unhelpful people in this town. I work at the hospital and am around all kinds of people. These are overpaid, entitled government workers. Enjoy your massive amounts of holidays off at your entry level, well paid job. Please continue lying about package pickups and where packages are and giving zero percent everyday

Gosh. I worked there in the early '80s, and we had a crew of hard-working and professional staff working there. Boy, how the times have changed. None of us were rude or slow with customer service. Must be the new Z Generation at work, or not at work but collecting paychecks. Sad.
