Dr. Sam is extremely knowledgeable and nice. He is so accommodating and lets you sit and watch the stars and other celestial bodies for as long as you like. We went on a clear night and so I was able to see the Milky Way for the first time, which was a milestone experience for me. You will feel so blessed to have gone on a stargazing tour with Dr. Sam to watch the vast, dark skies of Wyoming!

My wife Jani and I went on a Stargazing tour with Wyoming Stargazing on August 10, 2023. Nicole was our leader. Boy, did we have the time of our lives! It was a beautiful, clear sky lit up by the stars and the Milky Way. And, Nicole set up the telescope to get a clear view of several stars, a binary star system, several nebulae, the highlight being Saturn and its rings! She was clearly knowledgeable about the night sky and it was great to see her excitement when she was explaining about the heavenly bodies; it was clear she is passionate about astronomy! This tour was clearly one of the highlights of our trip to Yellowstone and Grand Teton. Thank you Wyoming Stargazing and special thanks to Nicole.

WONDERFUL. BRING A WARM DRINK & LAYERS. Guide provided blankets and plenty of knowledge. My 17 yr old space junkie loved the deep conversations all while learning these are his words: The stargazing experience was out of this world! We got to see everything from Arcturus, to Mars, to Vega and everything in between.

My family and I had a wonderful time in mid-August on a stargazing trip in Grand Teton National Park with Wyoming Stargazing. Our guide, Ben, was incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. He made topics in astronomy and cosmology easy to understand, even for my six-year-old! The light pollution in the area of the park where we were was minimal and we were able to see both the Milky Way and the moon rise. I highly recommend this unique experience with Wyoming Stargazing!

Nicole was our guide and she was amazing. She answered questions, then followed up with examples in the sky. SUPER knowledgeable, and a great educator. I highly recommend taking this excursion into the Tetons night sky. And buy the pictures package, it's worth every penny.

This was an amazing experience! We were able to see so many things in the night sky and our guide Ben was fantastic. He answered so many of our questions and made sure to point out really interesting things. Would highly recommend this experience especially if you are visiting from a light pollution area like us.

We did a private session with Ben, myself and two sons (16 & 15 years old) early August (2022). I cannot recommend this highly enough if you are interested in such things. Even if you are not, you will learn a ton. I love the general topic of "space" and to have an astrophysicist on hand to guide you through the galaxy is an absolute treat. Add in that Ben was a cool guy with a great disposition and it was a phenomenal experience. My kids are not science geeks. I figured they would have enjoyed the whitewater rafting, zip lining and rolling huge rocks down mountain sides--those would have been the highlight of the trip, but no, it was stargazing that stole the show. This is a first class operation. Fun....and I learned a ton...and so did my kids.Thank you Ben, and WY Stargazers!

Worth every penny - Nicole our tour guide was personable, knowledge and showed a great depth of understanding of what we were looking at. Could see into deep space with the telescope provided on top of an awesome location just to see all of the stars very clearly with the naked eye. Highly recommend.

We joined the Thursday night stargazing that's open to the public (suggested donation of $10/person) and really enjoyed getting to look at the stars and the moon. My favourite was Spica. The expertise shared by our two guides was interesting and informative. Several groups and families showed up and our guides adapted to the variety of interests and range of ages. Would recommend checking this out - this nonprofit does great work and is worth supporting!

This is such a wonderful program and worth every penny if you have an interest in space/the universe! Our guide. Rachel, also an astrophysicist!, was so fun and we learned a ton of new information. We saw amazing sights from our galaxy and had the best night of our entire trip to Wyoming.

This was a great experience! We did a star gazing tour this February on an extremely cold night. With windchill, it was about negative 20 degrees F. Our guide Emily first called to make sure we were still okay with going out. We were and she was very accommodating. She made sure to provide mats for us to stand on, hand warmers, and also did a good job of coordinating time outside and time in the van so that we could stay warm. It was definitely cold, but we were really glad we went.Emily was so knowledgeable about the stars, sky, and space in general. She did a great job pointing out interesting things in the sky and helping us learn to identify them on our own (we were able to successfully locate everything she taught us about later on our own). She also did a fantastic job of answering our (numerous) questions about space, even questions that weren’t specifically about the objects we could see in the sky. We learned so much and have a much greater appreciation for the universe now!Emily also did a great job setting up the telescope so we could see things more clearly/things you can’t see with the naked eye, such as other galaxies. She also used a special laser to help point things out in the sky.

My husband and I booked a trip for Stargazing with Samuel and it was beyond AWESOME! Samuel was very professional with communication and allowed us to change days due to the weather not being favorable for stargazing. My husband had tons of questions and Samuel knew all the answers. We were blown away by his knowledge and passion for the cosmos! We recommend this trip to any age. You will enjoy it regardless if you know a lot or just a little about astronomy.Bundle up and enjoy seeing stars and the many nuances that make up our night sky.

I believe their main page is Wyoming Stargazing Office for the bulk of reviews but I wanted to post my review here as well.Wonderful company and even better tour - we took out a group of 5 adults and 3 kiddos - aged 10, 6 and 3 and everyone had an amazing time. Got very lucky with the weather and was able to see beyond the cosmos and of course Jupiter and the rings of Saturn (truly spectacular). We have done other star tours here in Jackson through the Four Seasons Hotel and this was just as good! They bring chairs and blankets and all the equipment of course for your tour. I would suggest bringing any snacks, food or drinks as that isn’t provided (most hotels can make you a to go picnic box).Absolutely a must do while in Wyoming - the skies are beautiful, dark and full of adventure!
