The Health Department needs to inspect this motel. There was no security lock on our door. Carpet was ripped near the door; tub was full of bugs; window had a hole in it with black tape covering it.

Stopped in here a while back for lunch on a road trip with my girlfriend. Staff was very cold/short/rude towards us. We were glared at as if we were criminals during our meal. I felt extremely awkward during our entire experience. I had the buffet and my girlfriend ordered a full meal. I was charged for a second buffet (full charge) because my girlfriend had two bites—literally two bites—of my salad I wasn’t going to finish. When questioned about the second buffet charged I was told it was because my girlfriend has some of my salad—two (2) bites. I’m sure I was treated this way because I wasn’t a local. I’ve worked in the industry and and the way we were treated was not okay. Needless to say I will never eat here again and I encourage you to stay away if you’re not a local.

Nice Cafe, reasonable prices. Cheap and really good coffee for $1 . ( Refills Too !) Nice, friendly, and efficient Service. Food is made fresh to order, cooked nicely . Decor is pleasant and relaxing. We enjoyed our breakfast here and recommend Country Inn Cafe.

negative 5 stars, We called for reservation in March and she told us to call June 1 for Ledoux Days reservations, we did at 6:30am and then she said she'd booked the whole motel for the bands. I'll bet she's gonna wait and charge 5x normal fees. Will never give her our business.

We cruise the highways and by ways a lot and love these out of the way diners. I swear my grandma was in the kitchen preparing our Sunday dinner. Great fried chicken and ham, red jello with bananas, cucumber salad, Parker house rolls. Even though it 3 pm and business was slow everything on the buffet line was fresh and hot. Take an extra minute in Kaycee and walk down to the Chris Ledoux park. It lovely.

This place didn't seem like it got a lot of out-of-towners and probably gets most of its business from folks coming in from church. But we were treated warmly and got some good food--I never heard of stuffed chicken fried steak before, but I'm definitely going to be trying my hand at it at home.

Fairly good food but service was slow and a bit lacking. There's obviously some regulars which are seniors and hunters. i don't think they have a lot if waitresses.

A fairly typical diner-style restaurant, decent food, decent prices. Service was a little slow, but they were prepping for a funeral at the time so chances are service would have been faster any other time. If you find yourself getting hungry while cruising the interstate in Wyoming then it's worthwhile stopping in Kaycee to grab a bite to eat.
