About Country Inn
The Country Inn is a small, older restaurant in Kaycee, Wyoming, located off the beaten path. The ambiance is notably dated, described as being stuck in a time warp with decor reminiscent of the early 80s, akin to a relative's living room. Some guests note a faint smell of cigarettes in the carpet. The atmosphere is quiet and can feel unusual, even humorously compared to a scene from a horror movie or Sunday school. However, the food receives consistent praise, described as awesome, really good, excellent, and like hometown or grandma's cooking. Specific items like the Reuben sandwich and homemade French fries are highlighted. The service is wonderful, with very friendly staff and an owner noted for being helpful. The prices are fair and inexpensive. For hunters, a notable feature is the availability of maps with a license purchase. The restaurant also offers pamphlets on local history. It comes recommended by locals and provides a unique, memorable dining experience.

Good food fair prices. Had maps for hunting if you bought a license there! While most places in Wyoming didn't seem to have any. Big plus in this boys life n happiness. Very friendly owner that helped me choose what n where to hunt. Friendly staff. I'm heading there now. Hope they have maps again?

Restaurant is older and you can still smell cigarettes in the carpet but the food was really, really good and the two people running it were as nice as can be. It was so inexpensive as well. Excellent food, great prices.
