Earlier this Summer, my mother and I joined InStone Fossil for a 3-day “Ultimate Fossil Dig Adventure.” We dug in the upper splits, sandwich beds and 18 inch layer. Stacey provided a hands-on, very informative tutorial on fossil prepping equipment and techniques. Dean, Gary and crew are fantastic, knowledgeable and super helpful. We loved the experience so much, we returned late summer for two more nights of digging in the 18 inch layer. Our unbelievable finds include a Diplomystus mortality plate and paddlefish from the upper splits along with a Notogoneus and triple Priscacara plate from the 18 inch. We’re already planning our 2026 trip!”
