I am veteran and tried to use my veterans discount, but was told I needed a VA card . However I do not go to the VA. It very upsetting that I volunteered to go to the military during the cold war era and served my county so we could be free of tyranny. But now they want me to show them my papers to use the veterans discount that they offered. The whole reason we went served our country is to not have to show our papers at the door to use the their discount. Now in order to get the discount I would have carry my DD - 214 to get that discount. The very reason we served this country to be free of having to show papers like the Nazi did in their country. Their excuse is that they have people using it that were not veterans. So now they punish every veteran because of a few bad apples. For understanding I was in the military in the 80's but In 2025 we have to show our papers. The very same reasons we fought for our freedom. It is violation of the 4 th amendment that gives us the right to be secure The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized. This is their stance is to violate your 4 th amendment right. (Discount or 4 th amendment violation). The very right we fight against and a constitution violation. Welcome to bomgaars if your a veteran and want your discount be prepared to show your papers. smh.

I should have complimentary stock in the business at this point as much as I spend at this store. So it's a great store and it mostly stays clean and organized, sometimes you'll have a line at checkout but they have the same issues all of us business owners in Fremont County have.. good help is hard to find.. They do pretty good though, even with that hurdle.

Bomgaars was a great place to shop. The staff was courteous, friendly, and helpful. Was a wonderful experience. Highly recommend shopping there.

Terrible experience at Bomgaars Lander.
Trees sign said 25% off. Price was not correct on my receipt.Cashier had no idea! Tried to call for a manager but no help showed up. Finally decided to adjust price to the sale price and refund to my card. When I double checked the price was still not correct . Went back in And a manager came to help. Very rude , like it was my fault. After much consternation he decided to give me back some cash. Still not sure I got the right price! Not worth the hassle!!

Fraud alert! I was charged exactly 1 or 2 dollars more than the price on the shelf for every item I bought. When I told the cashier, she replied, “I don’t know what to tell you. I can’t change the prices.” I do know what to tell Bomgaars… I can’t imagine ever returning.

I and my Husband stopped there to get socks I was there yesterday bought a pair of new boots. My husband bought the same pair at murdocks for less. The lady was helping just fine when a rude nose pierced girl says no not with out a receipt i was already 10 minutes plus waiting. I was a bit upset and stated I don't have to buy boots here, she said fine I went home to hudson went back and nose pierced girl said she would have to take care of it she was short and non comunative and rude will not be back. I have spent thousands at this store but will spend my money else where

They don't honor their marked prices. Price at the register is usually higher than marked on the shelf. Grass seed marked as on sale not honored at the register. Numerous items also price not marked. Every time I see this place I pray for a Home Depot.
