What a great little place! Great food with great service. Waitress super friendly with sense of humor. Prices good especially for the amount of food piled on the plates. Definitely will be going back anytime I’m in Lander.

I cannot express how great this place was!! Our server Jessie was amazing and friendly!! The food was so delicious!! And their salad bar.... omg fresh and full with so many varieties! We got full off a salad! We ordered the spinach and portobello chicken sandwich and it was 10 stars. And the Philly sandwich was also 10 stars!! We will be back everytime we come thru Lander!!

Wasn’t good experience. Rolls were store bought and stale. Prime rib was poor quality and full of gristle with no flavor and was served cool. Served green beans that had been boiled so long they were almost white in color. My wife had iced tea that was old with floating particles in it. She had to spit it out and ended up with food poisoning from it. Will NEVER dine there again.

I've been going for close to 5 years to the lounge and now all the sudden Christine the accountant for the maverick want to charge me double the price for the same drink I've been getting for years. Now it's a place I don't want to go spend my hard earned money at!!! That's great that they want to turn people away after all the hard work they just did! Thanks abraham that's how you lose business.

Our hotel didn't offer breakfast so we headed down the road. When we stopped for gas in Lander, WY my husband asked if there was a local place that had a good breakfast. They recommended the Maverick. I'm glad they did because it was good and I never would have thought to stop there for breakfast! At 10am we were pretty much the only folks there and from the exterior it looks somewhat like a bar or dinner place. The waitress was personable. Hubby had the eggs, bacon, french toast and I had french toast. Not what I'd normal get but it was very good! She brought out cinnamon-sugar for me as well. I wouldn't say it was a budget meal (~$20 for the two including tip) but I'm glad we stopped and supported a local business. We did like the decor as well, with many cowboy hats displayed along the walls.
