I heard great things about the bar Front Street and decided to try it with some friends while visiting Laramie. I’m a woman of color and so is the group I was with. The waitresses were extremely hostile for no reason… or was there a reason? They should receive training on how to treat others with dignity no matter their background.

Didn’t sit down for dinner but grabbed some dessert on my way out of town. A very nice bartender was ranting about this carrot cake and I just couldn’t leave Laramie without it.

Absolutely, the best restaurant in the state! So many delicious options! Satisfying for meat eaters. All vegetarian and easily identified selections for dietary restrictions.

We got two sandwiches and two sides. Sandwiches were good. The sides were surprisingly bad. The roasted sweet potatoes were the worst I've ever had, and i eat sweet potatoes every week. They had no charred parts, no flavor, just like baby food. The Mac and cheese was pretty flavorless too-- no cheese flavor, just cream.

My family and I drove from Cheyenne to eat at Sweet Melissa’s. We arrived well over 11am (when they open) yet the door was locked, despite an open sign in the window. We stood outside (with 3 young children and two other patrons) in the cold and wind waiting for them to open the doors. We could see staff inside right on the other side of the window (and they could see us) yet no one came to the door to explain why they were not yet open or what the delay was. After standing outside waiting (again, in the cold) for 10 minutes, we decided to leave to find another restaurant. We are incredibly disappointed at how rude the staff was. I did attempt to call the restaurant as we were leaving, but no one answered. Unfortunately, we will not return.

I've eaten here a bunch but this time I got the falafel pita, roasted sweet potatoes, and the peanut butter pie. So many vegan and vegetarian options. Easily the best restaurant in Wyoming and it's not even close.

It’s always a mistake to go out for Valentines dinner, right? Not at Sweet Mellissa’s! Our cocktails (basil mojito, cucumber martini) and dinners (mushroom ravioli, Asian stir-fry) were fresh, flavorful, and delicious, the servers were super helpful with recommendations, and the whole dinner came to less than a single entree would cost in NYC. I understand now why people would move to Laramie. Melissa is there!

Ordered noodle salad and kimchi pancake and all was above expectation. The noodle salah was refreshing and have a little bit spiciness, whilst the pancake was unexpectedly really good with the sauce that made it balance taste. The dish closed with pecan pie and vegan ice cream. Was really good too! My friend was ordering 3bean soup with jalapeno, it was a kick and must try especially in cold weather. It was a full house, and the service was warm and welcoming so we were stay until it almost closed haha. Thank you!

Great food and friendly service. Best restaurant, vegetarian or not, in Laramie. I love the cauliflower sandwich (only in summer). Chili and cornbread are wonderful as well.

Sweet Melissa's has a great atmosphere, great people, and the best vegetarian food in Wyoming without a doubt.

Good food. I was a bit surprised for being a meat eater. I enjoyed their Dolma's, and a couple other dishes I was informed to try. I was very impressed.

I came with my mom and sister. The service was so bad. The food was decent, but nothing special. I am pescetarian so I wish they had some options. But I respect their integrity. I had the Greek salad, sans the cheese. With tzaziki dressing. Sorry I can't spell that word. And also a black bean burger. I ordered a drink.... ordered... because 25 minutes later, it showed up. I asked for a second drink after a while, we had time to kill. I never got the 2nd drink. They were pushing us out the door, by this time. My sister never got her drink, at all. Her burrito was terrible, and she is vegan. She got mashed potatoes, also, and they were cold, upon arrival. My mom got cauliflower wings and an impossible burger. Her burger was cold. The cauliflower wings were good, though. I probably wouldn't return.
