About Virginian Hotel
The Virginian Hotel is a historic hotel with a fascinating history, offering a unique feeling of being back in the wild west or a blast from the past. The upper floors and rooms are original and absolutely beautiful, like stepping back in time to 1911 with a home feel. Some guests found their suite wonderful, loving the old fashioned bathtub and king bed. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable. The grill puts out amazing food and the bar is filled with history. The staff are absolutely amazing, fabulous, great folks, and very helpful. The place is well-managed under new management. However, experiences with the rooms vary. One guest found their room just ok, noting that the blinds do not block outside light well and mentioning noise from a dripping sound and a loud television. Another noted the floors feel like a gravel pit. Despite this, many recommend the hotel for its unique, historic charm and plan on returning.
We stayed in the suite above the bar....music was not an issue for us. Nor was rhe train. Its a historical building, like hello. Historical means Old. The staff was delightful and friendly. Very clean rooms, with awsome staff and excellent food. Will definitely be back in the future.
