About Craig Thomas Discovery and Visitor Center

The Teton Range soars dramatically above the visitor center, providing a stunning backdrop to the stories within. Inside, exhibits interweave themes of place, people, preservation, inviting you to reflect on the park’s enduring legacy. Rangers are on hand to assist with trip planning, backcountry permits, and boating permits. While you're here, browse the Grand Teton Association Park Store, explore the art displays, attend a ranger-led program, or enjoy the park’s introductory film. The visitor center opens for the season in spring and closes in late October.

    A great stop when entering Grand Teton NP! Clean restrooms, museum exhibits, gift shop and information desk. Love the large windows in the lobby area; shows a great view of the Tetons!

    Parking lot is pretty large here. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would highly recommend.
