Our float trip with Solitude Float Trips on the Snake River in the Grand Tetons was the highlight of our visit to Jackson, WY. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking, and we were fortunate enough to spot both bald eagles and a moose along the way.
Our guide, Andy, was fantastic—very personable and full of interesting information and local facts that truly enriched the experience. He was also incredibly skilled at spotting wildlife, adding even more excitement to the trip.
We would absolutely recommend this adventure to anyone looking to experience the beauty and wildlife of the Grand Tetons in a unique and memorable way.

We did the 09:30 float. Very nice and calm experience. Spotted 3 Bald Eagles and 2 golden eagles. So not a lot of wildlife but I was hoping for Bald Eagles and got them, so I was happy.
The whole experience is soothing. Just being on the river. Stress free.

We had a great float trip with our 3 kids! Our guide Nick made the trip fun for the kids and was full of information! He spotted a moose and a calf and multiple bald eagles during our float! Highly recommend!

Amazing trip down the Snake River, with amazing views of the Tetons. Great end to our week long trip. Bryan was an excellent guide with great knowledge. Would HIGHLY recommend this trip.

We loved our float trip with Bernie! This was the highlight of our Grand Tetons visit. Bernie was friendly, clear on safety, and had lots of cool facts to share along the way. The float was smooth and relaxing. The views of the mountains were epic!
Note that you need to wear lots of sunscreen or protective clothing if you are floating in the middle of the day. Our float was about 2 hours and there was no shade since the river is pretty wide.

Thank you to Bernie on our recent float trip. His knowledge, stories and sense of humor made our experience very memorable. I don't want to forget to mention his navigating skills through some very shallow water. Excellent trip!

Seeing the Tetons from the Snake River was incredible and I am quite envious of our guide’s job. Bernie was safe, informative, and personable…exactly how the company advertises themselves. Our boat had 8 people and our guide onboard. Directions were very clear before climbing aboard and the rest of the trip went as planned! We saw some birds and a moose. The river was very fast the day we went, so fast Bernie said he hadn’t seen it like that in years. My only tip for anyone with mobility issues…walking around in the boat when loading/unloading feels like you’re walking on a waterbed. If I ever go back to that area, I’ll be booking with Solitude!

We had a great time. Andy was PHENOMENAL. Even though another raft had overturned a few days before and we saw a SECOND was stranded raft on our trip, (neither from Solitude) we felt safe with Andy. He was extremely professional and pleasant. Solitude took measures to ensure a safe trip (reducing number of participants per float and sending out a guide ahead of our raft); I would recommend them in any river condition. Beautiful scenery, limited wildlife, though we did get a VERY brief glimpse of a moose.

Excellent float down the river. Brian was super knowledgable and entertaining while expertly guiding the raft. We took the 5:30 pm float and saw a moose, beavers, and many birds. We would recommend this to anyone looking for a peaceful, informative float down the Snake river.

This trip was so awesome! Our family (me, my wife and our 4 kids, ages 14 to 7) took this trip on June 29 down 10 miles of the Snake River in Grand Teton NP. Amazing! We saw two bald eagles, a moose and other birds. Our, Sam, was so good -- energetic, knowledgeable, friendly, experienced. It was so peaceful and having the Tetons in view most of the time was just incredible. Highly, highly recommend.

We took the 5:30pm trip. I think the scenery may be better in the morning without the sun backlighting the Tetons. The entire experience was just okay for us. I am somewhat bewildered by the high ratings and just liked hiking and biking in Grand Teton so much more. Our guide was hard working and friendly. I did learn a ton more from our Yellowstone wildlife guide who gave really interesting commentary on fauna and history of the park but maybe it’s a different type of tour. We saw a moose along the riverbank which was neat. And a beaver!
