As a place to stay, we had a fine experience, no problem with the room. The bar was great and the breakfast options at the kiosk were all good, and the buffet in the Mural Room for brunch was wonderful. The view from the back patio can't be beat. The only negative was the takeout experience on site, which was an absolutely interminable wait for an overpriced dinner of fast food quality. It's kind of shocking that a place as nice of this feels that the food and service from that place is acceptable.I'm torn between 4 and 5 stars based on that place alone, but I will give it 5 because I would stay here again and I don't want to dissuade anyone else from doing so. But do yourself a favor and get food from the Trapper Grill before capping off the evening at The Blue Heron for a cocktail.

3rd time staying here, both COVID and smoke haze from fires to the West diminish it a bit, but still great.

Great surroundings. Comfortable stay. Friendly staff. Close to all areas. Great views of the Grand Tetons.

Amazing view from lobby. 5 stars for lobby and great window view on Teton range. However coffee was awful. Cappuccino was definitely not a cappuccino, but filter coffee with boiled overheated milk. Huckleberry muffin had about 5 small berries in it. Therefore, worth stopping for the view, but not for the coffee-based drinks/foods.

The hotel is beautiful but they need to fire everyone at the activities desk. I walked up to ask about some activities me and my 83 year old grandfather could do and was told just hiking........ They were literally advertising float trips behind them and all she could do is tell us how to get to a 4 mile trail in which my grandpa can't do. Luckily a quick search on Google can do their jobs so much better and I was able to get us a float trip without the help of the activities desk.

I have stayed here twice. Pretty good experience overall. However, on my second visit the pool wasn’t open and the menus at the restaurants were pretty limited due to COVID. Still a great area to stay close to Jackson Hole in the Tetons.

Walked into a room that was unbelievably hot and stuffy. We were told wait until evening. It’ll cool down. Stayed outside until later in the eve when our room temp dropped a bit. We’re from Texas. We can handle the heat. The room needs a good updating. Ants crawling everywhere. Didn’t look like it had been cleaned in a good while. Won’t be staying here again. Oh, and did I mention the price? Gouging.

We made an appointment for lunch. The views of the mountains and valley are beautiful. The mural room was interesting but nothing tremendous. The food was not very good. Had the pork barbecue panini which was not very tasteful. Would not recommend for lunch but the views are great.

Store is closed, gas is still open though. Looks like the store has been closed for some time, would be nice if it were open and stocked.

Great stay here. Probably the best lobby and hotel bar set up I’ve seen. You can post up with your binoculars and watch wildlife pop up across the meadow below. Saw Bear 399 and her 4 cubs, elk, deer and wolves have been spotted also! Lodge rooms are fairly basic but comfy. We saw a fox hanging around outside which was cool. Tasty cocktails in the bar.
