Hours: Based on the reviews, Laundry Basket is a small town laundromat located on the high street with parking right outside and near a city park. The facility has plenty of washing machines, including larger ones for bigger loads, and the dryers work well. The place is clean and tidy, with cool clothes baskets on wheels and plenty of seating. Washing powder is available for purchase. The owner is really lovely, helpful, and friendly, and it is a family business. However, there are some issues. The smallest washing machines are $3.50 per load. The dryers start at a quarter for the first 5 minutes, but each extra quarter only gives 3 extra minutes. This feels like a rip off, and it took almost as much in quarters to dry as to wash. Also, there is dog hair in almost every machine, and clothes can come out with dog hair on them, which is a problem for people with allergies. It is recommended to get there after they clean, otherwise the dog hair is an issue. Overall, it is a perfect place for doing laundry, but the dryer pricing is confusing and feels weird.
