********AVOID THE CODY AND POWELL BRANCHES******
They didn't check box saying my kids live with me so I owed. They caught it and refilled them and we had a returnso we never worriedaboutit. Two years later they have it so messed up I got a refund and later I get notified that I owed a ton due to interest. The last year's taxes and most likely this year's will are kept by the irs. The local h&R has told me that it's not their problem and no longer wants to help. AVOID THE CODY AND POWELL BRANCHES

We filed last year and this year with this place. Last year we got back around $1200. This year we went in and she realized she made a mistake and had put one of the stubs in the wrong box. She realized she made this mistake for last year as well. So she amended last year's taxes and now I have to pay in several hundred dollars for last year and this year. The owner was very rude to me and told me that she had been doing this for over 33 years and that they were not held liable for this mistake that was made. (I provided all the correct documents) this was not at all on me. I am not a tax expert hence why I went to a tax "professional". I am now paying several hundred dollars for their mistake. I would not recommend this company. Poorly ran. Very rude. Very unprofessional.
