About Moyer Animal Shelter
Welcome to Moyer Animal Shelter, the City of Powell’s dedicated animal shelter located at 638 W North Street in Powell, Wyoming. We provide safe, compassionate care for stray, surrendered, and homeless dogs, cats, and small animals while working hard to reunite lost pets with their families. Every animal receives food, medical attention, and love while waiting for their perfect forever home. Whether you’re looking to adopt a loyal dog or a cuddly cat, volunteer your time, or support our mission through donations, we welcome you. Visit us during open hours (Monday -Friday 9-10, 3:30-6:30pm and Saturdays noon–3:00 PM) or call 307-754-1019. Together, we’re giving every animal a second chance at happiness in our community.

The Powell Animal Shelter works off of donations. They are a non profit who is taking care of people's stray cats and dogs. The animals are all inoculated and ready to be adopted by the right person.

We got the sweetest pair of kittens here! The staff is so kind and friendly, and very obviously love the animals. They take great care of them, too. It's small but clean, give them a shot!
