“Spent a night at the Comfort Inn Rawlins, while on a roadtrip with the wife. The property is close to a grocery store and a Walmart, with a few fastfood places nearby. Check-in was easy, and the room was large and clean, with a microwave, minfridge, desk chair and an accent chair. For me, the accent chair was not the most comfortable, but it was better than sitting on the bed, as we had dinner in the room. Our room was above the swimming pool/hot tub addition, so between the exhaust vents for that, and the nearby railroad switching yard, we did have some noise during the night. The east side of the building may have been quieter, or during the warmer months, the AC may mask the sounds. We did use the laundry, having one of the washers throw an error code on us, but the frontdesk returned our money, and we simply used the other machine. May have been the best breakfast of our trip, including waffles, eggs, and other hot items, and we did see that the breakfast items seem to rotate daily. Overall gerat property and a good stay.”

“Friendly staff. I was able to check in quickly. Room was nice but had a very small TV. The fridge was a little loud as well. The shower floor creaked when taking a shower and the shower head sucked. Low pressure and needed cleaned or replaced. I like the Hampton Inns, this one needs attention.”

“Accommodating Staff. Appreciated their help and support during this time. Getting Snowed in is not fun. The Econo Lodge was great. Getting into our warm and clean room was so welcoming. The Hot drinks were offered and delicious. Thank you! ☕️Rooms: Clean and welcoming.”

“Cheap and cheerful - if you don't expect too much you will be happy with the motel! Everything is clean, the staff are lovely and will do anything they can to help you out. Yes, it's dated and needs some maintenance, but it doesn't pretend to be anything it's not and everything works. We came back and stayed again on our return trip because for the price it's excellent. Don't count on the breakfast being available though - we stayed 4 nights and it was only available once. However, the breakfast isn't anything to get excited about anyway (cereal, bagels, toast, fruit salad cups, granola bars) and the supermarket is right across the road so it wasn't an issue for us.Please be aware that there is a man who hangs around the breakfast room who appears to be trying to con people into giving him money. On our first visit he was there supposedly on the phone to a family member saying he was stranded because his car transmission has blown out, trying to get to Montana for his mom's funeral in 2 days and needed money to get the bus there that day. I felt really sorry for him and wanted to give him money for his bus. Thankfully hubby said no because when we were staying again a week later there he was, spinning the exact same story! If you see this man do not feel sorry for him and do not give him money!!!Thank you to the friendly, helpful, hardworking staff for making our stay an extremely pleasant one!Walkability: Supermarket is right across the road, Walmart is a 5 min walk away, downtown is a 20min walk away”
