“Tale as old as time: girls goes on solo roadtrip in her old cheap car. Girl’s old cheap car has problems. Girl goes to Auto Zone to beg for help because she doesn’t know anything about cars even though she keeps meaning to learn…
And the folks at Rock Springs Auto Zone saved the day! Figured out what was wrong by listening to the sequence of events and listening to some of the ominous sounds coming from the engine, were super friendly and acted like they didn’t mind standing out in the 90 degree heat to troubleshoot (1 even delayed his lunch break to help), applied some WD40 in a couple places, warned what to look for if things actually got bigger/badder than a simple fix, and got me back out and on my way! Trip saved! Didn’t even guilt me into buying anything I didn’t want/need.
Fathers, if your daughters have car trouble in SW Wyoming, Auto Zone is the place you should send them. And single gals— you can trust these guys. They got good people there. Thanks again, Rock Springs!”

“Needed 32” wiper blades for my RV. Couldn’t find them anywhere in town so asked Napa to order a pair of J-hook type for me. They ordered a standard wide hook type, but apparently I need a narrow hook version. I talked to Shannon (store mgr?) Wed morning about them not fitting. She took the initiative to order a second set of the narrow variety even without seeing what my exact problem was. I took my RV in Thurs morning. Took them about 2 minutes to put on the correct type. They were even cheaper than the first set!
