I had them do my taxes for several years while owning and operating a couple of oilfield service companies until I went to work overseas. I hadn't paid taxes for about 3 years because I was getting conflicting advice from other American coworkers that I worked with overseas. I went back to Liberty Tax in Riverton to get some advice from their "New" Office Manager, and she said "boy, you are going to owe a chunk"... So, I did my own research and found out that I qualified for a Foreign Earned Income Credit Allowance (FEICA) and I contacted the Office Manager again and tried to explain that I did indeed qualify for a (FEICA) and she argued with me and then her boss got involved and informed me that I was wrong... Well, I set up an appointment with an International Tax Lawyer/Accountant in New York City and found out that I was right... Anyway, he suggested I do my own Taxes with Turbo Tax and run the "Audit Option" and it will be just fine and save me a bunch of money. My suggestion is to do your own taxes, save some money, and don't waste your time with these people...???...
