Margaret has been doing my hair for quite some time. We've never had an issue until my last service. While I am sympathetic to things going on in her personal life, it shouldn't have impacted her work the way it did. We had multiple conversations about the services I wanted, with photos and estimates. However, I was pretty shocked when the appointment took over three hours. Time is not the issue though. Margaret was completely unprepared. She didn't have the correct toner or even a place to wash me out. She actually suggested using a DIRTY MOP BUCKET or hosing me down in the alley. I had to walk down the street - in foils and a cape - to a new salon. My hair is not what I wanted and she refuses to refund me after saying she would. Margaret also charged me for the product she offered for the inconvenience. Now she's been ignoring my texts and calls for the last couple weeks. Cannot imagine someone less professional than this. Wish I could give zero stars. Steer clear of Margaret if you care about professionalism, manners, your time or hair.

I'm fussy about my hair. I want it to look natural, but to be colors that not many people genetically have. Bright and bold, but natural looking. That's tough. Margaret nails it every time. I love coming to her salon, because of the vibe. Margaret is a "take you as you are" kind of person. For anyone who wants to talk, she is one of the most kind and non-judgemental humans in town. I come into her chair feeling tired and a little beat up from the world, and I always leave feeling happier than when I came in and loving my new hair. Couldn't recommend her and Allure more highly.

She was amazing!! I showed her what I wanted and she hit the ball out of the park. I love what she did with my hair!!! Not to mention the atmosphere and vibe she has is amazing. It made the experience enjoyable and well worth it!! I’d 10/10 would recommend her!!

Margaret is my FAVORITE colorist. She listened to what I was hoping to achieve with my hair and absolutely nailed the color and style. She is great to talk to and I would strongly recommend her to anyone looking for a natural warm blonde look. I'll be back!

I don't remember how I found Margaret. I live in Gillette but visit my Grandmother in Story frequently so we travel to Sheridan frequently. I'm pretty sure that I was just over the hair stylists/salons in Gillette. They never got my hair even semi close to the picture I showed them. I think I posted in a Sheridan fb group for recommendations and Margaret's name was mentioned more than anyone else's so I made an appointment. I usually just ask her to give me lots of blonde and she would do just that. And she exceeded my expectations each time. My last appointment, I had a picture(color not a cut)of what I wanted. I messaged her, sent the picture and asked if she could do that and if it would look okay. She said yes to both. My mom had her appointment the day before I did and Margaret asked my mom if I was still planning on getting what her and I had discussed and my mom said yes. Margaret told my mom that she was excited to do it. And I was more than pleased with the results. She did better than the picture I showed her. I will not let anyone else touch my hair. Not even to trim it. I recommend her on any post I see in Gillette groups. It's only 100 miles from here to Sheridan and if you want a job done right, it's definitely worth the trip. She is a hair whisperer. A hair God. And I love the coziness of her little salon. It's only her in there. The conversations are always fun. She is hands down the best person I've found for hair cuts and colors. She's 1 of 3 Master Colorists in Wyoming meaning she has all the training that there is to offer. And she gets trained in anything new that comes out. She takes pride in her work and for good reason. When I walk out of her shop feeling like a million bucks cuz my hair looks amazing..I become a walking advertisement for her - as with all her clients. This woman knows what she's doing.Sorry for the lengthy review. I could go on if I wanted to.

Margaret does such an amazing job. I always feels so refreshed with my new hair every time I get my hair done. Margaret knows what’s she’s doing and goes out of her way to make sure your hair is how you envisioned it.
