Staff was very nice and accommodating. Hotel is located in a convenient area, close to everything we needed. We did, however, have to wait an hour past our check-in time because our room was not cleaned. Once we finally got to the room, we realized it was not very clean at all, even though they had just “cleaned” it. There was dust and hair on most of the surfaces, didn’t look vacuumed, and there was a random persons pajamas in the bathroom. The jacuzzi had hair, dust, and soap scum inside. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned. There was also black mold in the corner of the tub. We had housekeeping come back and clean it, but we still were grossed out and didn’t end up using it. The bed at least had clean sheets and was made nicely. There is free breakfast and wifi, too, so that was nice. Probably won’t stay here again, mostly because of the disgusting state of the room /:

Night clerk Hanna was excellent, we had a problem with TV, she was prompt and professional. She needs to be recognized for her service to customers!!

Diassappointed. Booked to stay the night before New Year's Eve specifically so our kids could enjoy the the pool after a long day of travel. Never in all our conversations with the hotel did they mention that their pool was closed for scheduled maintenance (we figured we'd be safe on a Saturday right in the middle of the holidays). Then, they would not let us cancel our room even after we informed them that it was the whole reason we booked it. Yes, I realized we should have asked, but I also feel like it should have been advertised.

We will be staying here every time we come to visit. The staff here were so kind and friendly. The rooms were clean and maintained. The building layout is a little weird, and it took us a minute to find out where to check in. They have a bridge over the street as the hotel has rooms across from the check in area. The breakfast is the most amazing continental breakfast I've seen. They have sausage or bacon, eggs, biscuits and gravy, pastries, cereal, fruit, literally everything. You can tell they really put so much effort into making your stay nice. The only thing you could complain about would be the parking, which is a little sparse, but honestly, it's a small town hotel on main street so it's kind of expected.Really had a great stay here and will be staying again on our next visit.Rooms: This is an older hotel and the rooms do show their age a bit, but you can tell they do their best to keep things very clean and well maintained.Walkability: Right at the end of main street so you're within walking distance of shopping and food. The Dairy Queen across the street is actually exceptionally good for fast food.

Love this Best Western! Great location and fun atmosphere. Free breakfast and walking distance to so many things. Special shoutout to Hanna. She trudged through the snow to let us into our room after getting locked out and she was there every night to answer all the questions we had.

Rooms are SMALL!! Rooms are across the street from hotel lobby... pool closed for maintenance, but not disclosed until after payment was made.Person at front desk was friendly until I was upset about the pool. Then I had to call about there not being a remote in the room.

The room has a pitched roofline in it which makes it cool and the wood tones add to the lodge/cabin feel. The room didn't have a microwave which bummed me out since I had food that needed to be microwaved. Well just go to the lobby and warm your food up from there. The lobby is on one side of the road and the rooms are on the other side of the road. Interesting place tho.

NO elevator, and the hotel is on three separate, noisy streets.Wyoming drivers like to back in to parking spaces which is exceedingly rude, because when they do this by your room, your room will be filled with their car's exhaust fumes, since the heat/ac unit is directly against their tailpipes.Carpet and chair worn and stained.Very disappointed. Won't stay here again.

Having food available on site was nice after a day of travel. Staff were efficient and friendly. We enjoyed the Christmas village too!!! The bathroom needs some updating.Walkability: The sky walk over the street was wonderful on a cold evening to get from the rooms to the bar/grill and the breakfast/front desk area!

This hotel is in a downtown location, on Main street. There is plenty to walk to - shops, eateries, pubs, two theaters, a river walk and more.Best of all, the staff is very helpful. For example, Hannah welcomed us at reception and later, when we needed some help, she took a quick break from what she was doing to help us.The breakfast had a nice buffet. There were many pets for both of our stays. There are lots of places to walk them and a dog park in town.Walkability: Easy to walk around the town. Very convenient.HOWEVER, the hotel is located in several buildings, so be ready to check in and then drive across the street to your room.

We came to Sheridan for my son’s football game and weren’t planning to stay overnight; but the weather didn’t feel encouraging. So we played it safe and decided to stay.Luckily, we quickly found rooms and secured reservations. When I checked in, Hanna greeted me. She was friendly, funny and fast! She found us adjoining rooms and provided a map to our rooms.Since the overnight was unplanned and it was late, we made a trip to Walmart for incidentals and food. My son chose some frozen meals. When we returned, we were surprised that we didn’t have a microwave in the room. My son called the front desk and Hanna told him where to find one not far from our room. He then realized a very important detail…a fork for his meal. He called Hanna again…and she offered to bring him a couple sets of forks and spoons! She delivered them within minutes. It was a cold night. Hanna could have set behind that front desk…all nice and warm. But she went above and beyond for us. It was much appreciated!
