The fondue dinner at the restaurant was a highlight of trip last year. Coming back this year, the meal and service we received was not only incredibly disappointing, it was borderline comical how terrible it was. The “fondue” is nothing more than a cheese sauce for an oversized pretzel and the service was nonexistent. Certainly will not be retuning unless management change.

Just stayed here for the 2nd time and I wish I would have discovered it a long time ago. After staying in almost every hotel in the village this is our favorite. Has a non corporate European Inn feel to it. It's not the four seasons and were glad its not. Best location in Teton Village, the free breakfast is very good! The staff seems very happy and genuinely cares about the guests experience. I recognized many of them from a year ago. Loved the pool and hot tub, loved the bar for Apre, the fireplace and the reggae band! I hope this place never changes.

Stopped in during happy hour for fondue. The service was pretty abysmal, I'm not sure why either cuz they had like four servers and the place was not full. The quality of the food was good, but the mandatory gratuity for just my family, there are six of us, was annoying.

Went to the restaurant and had a subpar experience. Service was excellent, however the fondue had way too much alcohol, and the accompanying bread was quite cold, it had clearly been frozen.Food & drinks: Food was not good

It’s an awesome place, Great food, Wonderful people. Hotel staffs are so welcoming. Hotel and its furnitures are old and rustic, and it’s beautiful. But unfortunately, I cannot vouch for the comfort of the rooms.

Wonderful European style hotel. The building is older but meticulously maintained and very clean. Really good breakfast and coffee in the morning! The pastries are wonderful! The staff is the best, very friendly and helpful. The location is great, only minutes from Teton National Park south entrance and on the other side of Teton is Yellowstone.Rooms: Very clean and well maintained. We had a fireplace with a great stock of firewood andNearby activities: Minutes from the S gate of Teton National park. Very close to the ski lift.Food & drinks: Great breakfast! Tasty coffee and wonderfully flaky pastry is out starting at 7. Then full breakfast at 7:30. Good dinner and drink menu. Schnitzel was excellent.

Awful dinner at the Alpenhof restaurant. We were literally embarrassed for the place. Everything was barely edible.

i downloaded yelp just to review this place. first of all, we tried several times to make a dinner reservation, only to never have anyone answer until FINALLY they did (i almost wish they hadn't at this point) after about 4 calls. once we made the hour long drive to get there, they barely gave us enough food to feed our table of 7 and the server rarely came around to remediate our negative experience despite the fact that we were one of the few tables left in the entire restaurant. it wasn't busy at all. we were left with no water on the table, no silverware, and no napkins, all of which come standard in even the mom and pop restaurants i'm used to. to top it all off, once we had paid for our meal and were given the receipt, the waitress called 30 minutes later and told us that she had "forgotten to charge the card" despite taking the card to the POS system and bringing it back (and telling us she was adding gratuity to the bill for some reason). she had even asked my father-in-law to read the credit card information to her while DRIVING down a dark, heavily wooded mountain pass. i understand how harsh this review sounds, but as someone who also works in the food service industry, i was shocked by the experience we had here.

This hotel is conveniently located in Teton Village, so an easy walk to the gondolas and shops. While a few updates are needed to the property, we’d absolutely stay here again because of the fun German atmosphere and very friendly staff. Highly recommend.
