Overpriced service, poor customer service

Service has sucked the last couple of years im assuming because of all the new people moving into the area. All silver star has done to for is is switch the router out which hasn’t helped at all. Im currently writing this using my cellular data because i cant get my phone or any other device to connect to the WiFi

I originally scheduled to cancel my service but then found a rental with minutes to spare. I called silver star and asked if it were possible to transfer instead of cancel. The woman I dealt with was so kind and accommodating. I’m really happy I get to keep using silver star. I’ve never had a bad experience!!

The technician, Cody, couldn’t have been nicer. He was prompt, capable, and professional. He made sure everything was connected and working right before he left. He also cleaned up around the sites where you had to work.

I am a first time customer of Silver Star for their internet service. The employees of this company are really good about following up with their new customers to be certain the internet connection is working. And their technicians were able to remotely help me make the proper connections. Coming from Comcast (in Maryland), I'm not used to an ISP that cares about customers so this is really refreshing.

Came back to my house in Alpine to find they had cut the line while installing fiber. Without telling me, they dug up my grass and ran a temp line above ground on my driveway to the internet box on the house. Who knows how long it has been like this because I dont live here full time. I have called 4 times over three days and each time they act as if I’m inconveniencing them and tell me, “let me call my construction crew and get back to you” and each time no one calls me back.

My initial experience with Silver Star wasn't the best I must admit. BUT, Nikki was absolutely a delight to work with and was super helpful in explaining some confusion we had with service hookup. THANK YOU NIKKI!!!

Very good experience. Problems with our old router identified immediately and a replacement was ordered. It was supposed to be preprogrammed and wasn’t but that wasn’t a big deal.

I’ve always had exceptional service by Silver Star and particularly their technicians. Easy to work with and right on target. Somehow I goofed again and they bailed me out. These guys/gals are the best!
